Post by: bluecat on September 29, 2007, 09:33:23 AM
Well from a cat that wouldnt eat to one that cant stop Plus i noticed blood and her stools were runny last night  :scared:

She was spayed about 3 weeks ago think that may count as pre excisting condition ?  if this is caused by that !  Think it mite as she pulled a long length of stiching out last nite kept pulling at it so i cut what was lose away so she couldnt pull no more

So i have my work cut out for me this morning geting miss scaredy cat to the vets  :oh noo:

sounds like the sooner the better. She may have an infection in the wound which may cause the runs also. But the wound needs seeing to ASAP. They will probably give antibiotics also. Fingers crossed for her.

Well the vet said all looks ok put her on atibiotics for a week she has a little discharge were she was spayed.
She was very well behaved  :Luv:considering how scary it must have been. 38 quid for injection to last her till mon a weeks antibiotics pills normal price ?

Just noticed  her franticly scratching at the carpet then inside the tunnel she has a scratch post how can i get her to use it any ideas ?

Might just nip out to pub  and leave her be not sure if shell eat with me here whats the best thing to do ?  Leave her he be let her now come to me when shes ready or try coaxing her a bit i dont want to wind up back at square 1  :'(

I would think that price also has consultation fee of anything from £18-25, so price seems OK.

I wouldn't leave her right now, even though the pub is beckoning!  Just sit quietly in the same room as her to make sure she settles and doesn't start at those stitches again.  She can't come to you in her own time if you're at the pub, now, can she?  ;)

Spray it with catnip  ;D
Also the position is important as scratching is also territorial. I have one of mine near the door and they like it there.
