Hello, my name is Caryll and I have just joined. I am now getting on a bit and am retired, living with my husband, daughter and our three oriental cats ,Kyla, Kidd and Myrtle. Because I am disabled and very deaf, I am finding that the internet is an invaluable lifeline, so I look forward to chatting to you all.

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.
I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned :evillaugh:
It never occurs to me whether people are older or younger than me, we're just cat people and that's what matters and makes us special :)

I'm a huge fan of orientals ..... my parents have always had "foreigns" ... siamese, burmese, tonks and I am currently owned by two Abysinnians so I know the joys of having an intelligent chatty cat in the house! lol
-
I have a pair of Birmans and Lupin the kitten is totally a loopy, chatty, terroist but gorgeuos LOL

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone. I will browse a bit more tomorrow and post some pictures of our three herberts. All three are real characters, but very different in personality. We, of course, love them to bits and even when they are naughty (which they frequently are) wouldn't change them at all :ha ha :

LOL! Naughty Lupin! My Kyla does that sort of thing. She loves scaling the curtains, then abseiling back down, when she gets to the top. All our curtains have tiny claw marks in them, courtesy of her! :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
