:welcome: Covcats first kittens of the year, beautiful tabby mum to be handed in to us on Tuesday, and lucky me got to foster her. It was thought she had a week or two to go....................wrong! Friday morning went in to say hello and there she was with three beautiful kittens. I named her Leia, so the babes are Luke, Anikin and Dala (the black one's the girlie) Leia is the most beautiful, affectionate, gentle soul who is a lovely mum. I put pics on our FB site and we've already had enquiries about adopting both Leia and Luke (the little tabby one) so hopefully they'll eventually go to good forever homes.

Leia's a really attentive mum. Although she loves a cuddle herself, she's always got half her attention on what the little ones are up to. They're constantly 'talking' to each other...............I wish I knew Cat speak! I swear they're part monkey the way they climb up the cat tower..............at only 4 weeks old they can climb a metre tall ladder to get to the 'den'. Bless them. I call it socialising them, but really it's just sitting enjoying their company and playing..............what better occupation?
