I couldnt answer that michelle, Her owner adores her cats and doesnt have family of their own so the animals are the children.  I would say its prob a good bet she wont have any more but i dont know, probably veterinary advise would be followed.  One of her cats had a bad time last year with mastitis and couldnt rear her own litter and she's not had any more.

Poor little Ayashe, what a terrible time she had with having them .......R.I.P the 2 that died.
Hopefully the C Cestion has now stopped her from having to have any more litters  :sneaky:

I couldnt honestly tell you sarah, i'd say i suspect not quite as curly.  He's a short hair and they arent so much as the longhairs..I presume those kittens will turn out to be l/h's but of course far too early to say at that stage.  I've now seen many permies baby photos and they do look to be some of the curliest i've seen, it does depend on the colours though and the camera lOL how well its picked up.  Some babies can be born with much less curls or even hair and turn into really curlies as they mature.  I think thats part of the excitement with rex's to be honest, its always abit of a surprise  ;D

I've only just seen that penni has piccys of the babies on her website, they are kind of bundled all together but you can see their fur quite clearly how it is curly...soooooo cute   http://www.wakanda.co.uk/  --- click on "OUR LAPERMS" then scroll down and click on AYASHE and her bubbas are on there..ooooohhh i'm quite broody now  :evillaugh:

This has to be one of the best pics of utter contentment i've seen.

yep she's a laperm and she was talking to one of her babies that was trying to wobble off the bed, all the babies were also squeeking away  :Luv:

She belongs to a lady called Penni http://www.wakanda.co.uk/  She's the one that also has the gorgeous little Nitika who's one of my favorite permies  :Luv:

All the babies are really curly, not particularily in my favorite colours but cute never the less  :)

little movie clip of Ayashe and her 6 day old kittens, Very cute vocals  :Luv:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3Oexyjd__w

Poor ayeshe had a hard time in labour, she was huge so large litter expected but she needed lots of injections every so often to make her contractions stronger & managed to deliver some kittens,  then had to have a c section which revealed an over sized kitten unfortunately it had died already and i think there was atleast 1 other alive baby inside so that was 6 or 7 live babies plus the dead one, again unfortunately the smallest baby died a few days ago but the rest are thriving and mum has never not looked after them even the first 24 hours but kept falling asleep she was so tired after her traumatic time but didnt ever not tend them when they squeeked  :Luv:
