Purr & Simple is an all natural and fragrance free cat litter. It is 100% biodegradable and comes from annually renewable resources. Independent laboratory tests compared Purr & Simple with other leading brands and found that it had as a minimum twice the odour control, but it many cases was more than 7 times better.
Purr & Simple provides excellent value with:
* Twice the odour control
* 100% biodegradable
* Safe for Cats and Kittens
* Low tracking
* Low dust
From the Earth to the Earth
Mother Nature provided Purr & Simple with an incredibly effective neutralising ingredient - the Nutshell!! Our all-natural cat litter maintains a proprietary blend of fibrous material from tree-nut crops.
This revolutionary cat litter is annually renewable - made from sustainable resources that can be restored by nature within one year. Can you think of a more environmentally friendly product with a lower carbon footprint?

Not yet Gill but the weather has been terrible in the central belt with more snow and black ice and we still have our snow so will advise when it arrives ;D
-
Have sent Bern another email asking them to chase this up with the courier and to provide tracking numbers.
-
Received an email from Bern Pet Foods. If nothing has been received by Thursday they will resend the items.
-
We will be waiting for this ;D
-
No sign of this with us yet and we have had deliveries and post almost every day despite our weather maybe they should resend ;D
-
Item will be resent today ... should be delivered on Thursday.
-
Will keep you polsted as we now have an icerink for a track just love thawing snow :rofl:
-
Sam still nothing here and we have had heating oil and the postman and track is driveable so no issues here
-
Cheers Liz ... I will speak to Karen again. >:(
-
Any sign yet Liz?
-
Nothing yet Sam - driver may have looked at the track and decided no way its a skid pan - even 4 x 4 are sliding = I live in hope it will arrive but their carrier may think we live in the Islands of Scotland not the Highlands :rofl:
-
>:( lets hope it turns up soon ... and that you do actually get cat litter!
-
At least I have dogs :rofl:
-
just sent this to Bern.
Hi Karen,
Me again LOL. Just to update you on the auction items. Both the winners of the CAT food have received parcels ... however both of them have received DOG food which is of no use to them whatsoever as neither owns or knows a dog.
The cat litter has still not been delivered and the auction winner has asked me to pass on her Mobile number in order that the courier can give her a call if they are experiencing difficulty in finding her house: 0781xxxxxxx
We really appreciate Bern Pet Foods supporting our charity auction, however the palaver involved in actually getting the items and then the auction winners receiving the incorrect items has soured their experience and potentially damaged the good name of Purrs in our Hearts and Berns Pet Food.
Yours sincerely

Had an out of office reply from Bern. Karen will be back in on Monday 17th. :-:
-
The courier used was Citylink, maybe Liz could get in touch with them herself in Karen's absence? it just gets more farcical by the minute doesn't it!?
I have the despatch address on the despatch note (which lists the item as dog food as well FYI) if that's needed.
-
Can't wait to see what the cat litter is going to be at least if its dog food hopefully Sky and Sunny will eat it :rofl:

I reackon the cat litter will be a pack of toilet rolls LOL

The clue was in the name - as we all know, only squirrels and cats purr :shify: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVGmvNoCVEI
The reporter obviously doesn't have cats, calling it a 'mewling sound'

message received from Karen today:
Hi Sam
The original deliveries are lost! Sent out when it snowed / Christmas time and caused lots of problems, we are still having deliveries turning up.
I have been off sick and my colleague has been using your old email address trying to contact you as the lady below address was incomplete and the courier company couldn’t deliver.
I will send some vouchers to the auction winners as an apology for the problems. I am so sorry it all has gone badly wrong.
Kind regards
Karen Rodger

Karen phoned me today and advised she didn't have my full address - she wanted a street name advised her we don't have one and the road we are on is unclassified and she advised they would try the delivery today advised her to get company to phone me for real directions not the Tomtom ones as they take you 4 miles in the wrong direction - rural living means our tiny hamlet is spread over 8 miles :rofl:
-
I love it when these companies keep telling me that the address given is incorrect! :rofl: Mind you these are probably the same type of people that always read back the spelling of my surname and add an "r" into it. As I obviously don't know how to spell it! ;)
-
Well no phone calls or cat litter yet :rofl:
-
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
Deliveredfinally today driver has visited all the sets of houses in our hamlet and finally phoned me and says do you live next door to the white nasty alsation yup I reply and he duly delivers it and it is now in the cupboard as I have just cleaned 28 grit boxes with vircon and they all have nice clean litter so not a spare one to see if they will use it :rofl:
-
Great ;D locked
-
Excellent ... glad it's arrived.
