I'm on medication to try and control it (nothing they can do about the damage that's already been done) but I have flare ups where I'm really poorly and other times where I feel a bit better. It does really get me down at times especially seeing as the lupus causes a red rash across my nose and cheeks that's really bad when I'm having a flare up as I am paranoid that people are staring at it.

I've got SLE (a type of Lupus- my immune system attacks my organs) which is what has caused the limitations as it makes me very tired a lot of the time and really bad joint pains etc.

There's pics of me on The Hovel: http://www.thehovel.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=6705

how come to the limitations? ~(feel free not to answer - someone should shoot me for being so nosey!)~ ?:innocent:

yeah, i like the forensics part. i spend most of my time studying analytical chemisty really, with some biology, but i like the applications to the forensics, all the law and that gumph, makes it all more bearable to me!

you should post your pic on the other thread - so i know if i see you at hogmanay!!!!! hehe. (again obviously no pressure)

oh lord - just read anything i've written today on here - its all waffley and stupid, trying to do my work and getting way too stressed and i'm going mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea what I'm going to do at the moment as I have the problem that I can only work part time and I can't do fieldwork which rules obvious things like the oil industry out.

We had a lecture on forensic geology the other day which was really really interesting!  :wow:

Oh WOW, ?:wow: ?I was just gonna post about some missing persons and got the shock of me life seeing all those Wain like cats.......especially that crazy cat ??When did they appear? ?;)

We are missing LOADS of peeps. ?I think some may be on Katnip or the Hovel. ?A lot of members used to be on the Hovel as well as C.C. anyway (not me) but Feline Friends has started up and I def saw Stassy as the last poster when I took a cursory glance at Katnip last night. ?I am only gonna be on this Forum though 'cos it get's too time consuming being on any more...and I kinda like this one. ?I feel like it's C.C.'s natural successor. ?;)

I would like to see Teresa and Steff (does anyone remember Steff...she used to be such a regular poster some time ago) and Tania and Alison (Norfolk) and Amanda (madformoggies) and I think Dawn's (DD) registered for here but I haven't seen her posting much. Is Emma here? (Meg and Darcy Emma). ?Oh, I could go on and on.........Ruth (Baz's mum)....

i never got to ask her why she was doing a geochemistry lecture!!

i'm guessing she'e just on another of the forums but feels funny if the odd person's not here when so many others are.

i keep thinking about shelley too - she's gonna get such a shock when she comes back from getting wed!!!
