Such a shame but I think it's inevitible :( The article says that there are believed to be just 35 left, I can't see how they can come back from that :'(

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who heard the report the other day about how bad the situation was for native wildlife, quite depressing something like 60% of native plants and animals declined in the last 50 years and one in 10 lost

It's no coincidence that humans are increasing at a ridiculous (and unsustainable) rate.

that is what David Attenborough said, I can't remember the figure he quoted but in the last 50 years the number of people living here has gone up at an unbelievable rate, I thought he must have got it wrong but imagine he didn't!

Far too many people, and increasing at a rate which should (if we really were an intelligent species) be a wake-up call to do something about it.
