3 kittens in liverpool need help. went to see them last night, look to be about 5weeks. 1 is not drinking or cleaning it's self. to small for me to even tell what sex they are. mum is a stray and thinking they were helping, a friend took the kittens in and left mum were she was. kittens are so scared, they may be semi-feral, they are hissing and scratching. friend is trying to look after them but has no idea what to do with them. she says she'll get mum today but i am worried what mum will do as her kittens have been handled by strangers. if any rescue is unable to help please let me know. i can take them in the short-term but partner is complaining. i am willing to pay for food etc. sadly we have too many cats as it is OH keeps saying. i maybe able to care for them with rescue's backing for rehoming.
i offered the kittens milk replacement last night and one was drinking alot! once i had trapped them and put them in a carry case they seemed to settle abit more. they were running loose in the house before hiding and getting stuck behind the back of a bookcasde where i got them from. watched the drinker clean himself before going to sleep in the carry case- am about one though. can anyone help? i can do transport too.
thanks

:( Poor mum and kits must be missing each other, I do hope they're reunited ASAP!

Poor babies. Well done for stepping in, Lau. Hoping someone can help.

Poor little things and thanks to your friend for taking them in, hope she gets mum today. Can't offer any help I'm afraid as I am in the same situation with OH....no more...we have too many cats (we only have 5 and the dog) but I so wish I could help more. I'm hoping mum will be ok because the kittens aren't tiny newborns. Keep us updated hun x

Hi
Im in southport not too far away, I can foster mum and kittens if you need a fosterer.
-
I'm in Birkdale, Happybunny. I've just adopted Tara from the RSPCA yesterday, a very timid little thing, but I'd have offered to foster them anyway, if you hadn't replied first. :)
-
these are being fostered but will require new homes. this is still quite urgent as foster is going on holiday in 3 weeks

ginger has gone to a new home. just tabby and black kittens left now
-
think this can be moved from urgent as the remaining 2 are coming to me in the short term. thanks
-
Of the remaining two, which is least aggressive?
Am considering it, however need to think about practicalities - ie how would Davey and Tinks settle with it and how would kitten react to those two?
