Have pmed you Zoe and think he needs a specialist involved, he wont ever heal if he is itching or its hurting and he will find some way to scratch, cos he has too. :hug: :hug: :hug:

If he has to wear a collar I think the comfy collars are much less intrusive. Really hope you can get to teh bottom of this for Ollie  :hug:

Just steroids. Reluctant to do a biopsy as means going under anesthetic or heavily sedated. Vet not happy to do it cause of risk.

I just need to try and keep him comfortable and not scratching. He got steroid injection and gel

just need to try and get a scent collar to stop him being able to scratch til it heals

lampshade seems uncomfortable on him

Ollies Skin Condition - Again

Ollie has had an ongoing skin prob since he became epileptic. First i was not to bad but very itch for him and he had steroid tablets and cream.

On Saturday it got the worst its ever been, had him at vet yesterday but vet not happy about putting him under anesthetic cause of the epilepsy and he has not been keeping to good over last few months,

some pics of my we boy below.

Jan gave me a link for www.comfycollars.co.uk has anyone used them. He has been given a lampshade but he may need it for a while and I want him to be as comfortable as piossible.
If anyone has used one of these collars or has any other suggestions can you let me know.

The main thing is his skin is so itchy and i have to stop him scratching his face and head. He has a steroid cream and has been given a steroid injection that last 4 weeks.

I worry so much about him
