Ours range from nearly 18 years young and on a burst of catnip stops the Clan Cats in her tracks!  We then move to the Oodie Doodies who are coming up 5 and 6 months respectively - 2 of each age and they are just maniacs on 4 legs led by her Baby gorgeousness Beiijing aged 18 moths add in to the mix various other ages and feral/domestic and Pedigree I can honestly say not unless they are sleeping and bring out the red dot then I can have 30 bounding cats and kittens mixed in with theor pets teh 2 Border Collies aged 1 and 2 - doggies now only play with red dot outside they are to big!

Memphis was a very well behaved kitten ... rarely was he in trouble. He never climbed curtains etc. The older he gets the naughtier he becomes  :-: hopefully he is just in the terrible twos, otherwise I'm going to have to consider changing his name to Memphisnodon'tyoudare.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

Can someone tell that to Jerry Please??

Seriously , yes they do , Gizmo is very chilled now , Beavis was an old man by the time he was three and Fredcat srill loves his toys but his curtain climbing days are over.

Jerry must be the exception to the rule , I have just hauled him out of the cupboard again! :tired:

I am very relieved to say that yes they do indeed calm down. Usually around the 14 month mark though the change is gradual and, in some breeds, never really seems to take effect.

*Giggles hysterically.....* I do hope so.  :) No, seriously they usually calm down a little bit around a year old and then steadily descend into aloof adult feline mode. ;)

She's 6 months now and as hyperactive as ever! Climbing up the sofa and dining chairs etc, will she always be this way? She's due to be spayed next week.
