Hi Everyone
Its that time of year again and now , as you see in the title , I have to mention the dreaded C word.........sigh
Time to get the paper and the boxes and things for the auction, not mention to open your piggy banks where you have saved all year especially for this purpose :innocent:
The dates of the auction are Sunday 21 November until Monday 6 December 2010
Full details of how this works for all our lovely newbies will be published shortly together with the name of the chosen rescue :shify: :shify:

Oooh, it's all a bit exciting! Looks like I have got a second job just in time otherwise I wouldn't have been bidding on anything! Also, I am my own Santa this year so will just have to treat myself to some pressies ;)

I have 2 New Mugs not from my collection I hasten to add new ones with cats on and some cat costers again not from my collection as The Clans Daddy spent some of their pocket money and this is what he got
We may also have one or 2 more special items as I have mugged our Royal Canin rep and she dropped some things off at Sunny Harbour for the auction :evillaugh:

May just do an extra set of Poinsettia table decorations as we all know the real ones are poisonous to our precious kitties ;D

Oooooo I can't wait ... got lots of things tucked away. Have persuaded a few companies to donate some bits and with any luck we will get more on board over the next few days.
Liz I'm pleased you've managed to get the RC rep to give you some goodies ... I'm having problems getting hold of them via the website and they aren't receiving email :(

Definitely in for listing a used :sick: jumbo hooded litter tray. Presently blackmailing asking my favouritist auntie to assist me with a second listing ... if it comes off I will be obliged to go over for dinner and wine to photograph said item. *wipes sweat from brow* ;)

After the near nervous breakdown I had last year trying to get everything packed up for posting I've managed to accumulate a fine stash of packaging materials this year. All I need now is something to pack. :rofl: Best get my finger out I think.

I will have my stuff from my nice RC rep via Sarah at Sunny Harbour and my sisiter so will see what we have then - we have a nice big book and some nice tin things - the clan are also donating some lovely fluffy things that they have been saving up their pocket money for :rofl: Or the other version we mugged Daddies Credit card :evillaugh:

oooooo....exciting, I can't wait! I have just ordered some stuff from the purrs shop, but one can never have to much cat toy, food, ornaments, general stuff, hehe :)

Ok so you all just know what I will be listing for the auction over several days.
A whale cat toy the choice of colour is yours a picture will be added of all the wool colours you can choose from and you will have the choice of safety eyes or embroidered eyes, remember the Cute Lilac kitten well she is looking for a new home, and finally their is 3 Poinsettia table decorations going in the auction.
The whale is made to order as it can be made in less than 1 hour.
So there is no misunderstanding about the Poinsettia they are crocheted and have been hand made by myself, I am aware that the actual plant is poisonous to cats so would never under any circumstance even have the plant in my house.

How big is that whale lol

The whale is about 3 inches long that was a close up shot so you could not see the paw heading for it and is on an A4 pad and in the background you will notice a pen so you can get a rough idea. Is cat size most definately and my felines love them to bits and that was no longer on the notebook 2 seconds later :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
It is done in one piece with no stitching, so no seam for felines to rip open either lol

So am I right in thinking the flowers and lilac cat will be to bid on and the Whale will be a fixed price for us to order?
The Whale is cute and we all fell in love with Lilac cat when you fooled us ;)

Oh am also looking at some of my patterns to see what I can also crochet up quick before the auction as well there could be acorns which can go on the Christmas tree as ornaments, won't break when the cats knock the Christmas Tree over :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Believe it or not so could I (only crochet square blankets) until about 8 weeks ago and could not knit in the round either until about then or do bootees until last week. I am one of those that will keep going until I get the hang of it :rofl: :rofl:

Uh oh.
OK so I saw the auction dates, and I remembered them ... then I went into denial.
Kirst and I are going to be missing 1 and a half days of the Auction cuz we have a date with a Rock God. Erm pleeeeeeease tell me it is ending in the evening. Then at least we can sneak in last minute bids :naughty:
Memphis will be auctioning off some goodies and he will also be making some cats cry when he wins what he wants :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

I've read a number of different threads/posts about this years auction ... all had the dates but not the time. So there must be one I'm missing that has the time in. Which is why I had to ask :(
