Found this posted on a group i'm with and she's being offered as active! :-:
Does any have space for her before she falls into the wrong hands????
Hubby and i would take her but she is wayy too far unless someone can form a chain to get her to us.
OFFERED; FREE TO GOOD HOME, BSH BLACK SILVER SMOKE FEMALE. FAREHAM, HAMPSHIRE
Gorgeous Black Silver Smoke British Shorthair girl available for a new home.
She is beautiful, nice and chunky look although not too big in her body.
She has a lovely temperament and loves people. She would make a brilliant pet, which is what I would really prefer her to go as.
She is on the GCCF active register but her latest blood test did come back with a high Coronavirus count which is no problem for her but is not good for kittens.
Her dob is 5/6/2007.
She is up to date with worming, flea treatment (done 2/9/09) and vaccinations (next due 2/3/2010).
Se is vaccinated with Fevaxyn Pentofel which covers the normal nasties PLUS Chlamydia.
She is also microchipped.
She is in very good health, except that she has diarrhoea at the moment due to a bacteria which is common in multi cat households. I have been treating all of the cats with an antibiotic and they had their last one this lunch time. I hope this will stop this.
She is a lovely cat. She adores attention but is not a cat that pesters you until you get fed up!
She is available purely and simply because my personal circumstances have changed and I am having to dramatically downsize in a hurry.
We are in Fareham, Hampshire if you would like to come and see her and meet us.

high corona count and diarrhoea rings warning bells for me :scared:
-
She's saying people should not breed from her because of the blood results but whats to stop them. :(

Kelly-Joy has a transport run thread for this cat, who has a new home waiting

Poor little soul - would have considered taking her but its miles away from me ( although my geography is pretty bad !)
Hope she gets helped asap.
-
Aw bless her, hope the abs can help her out and she can find a loving home soon!
-
The same person is now advertising a neutered white male free to good home, and although she states she is downsizing in a hurry, 3 BSH X kittens at £195 each. :shify:

Dowsizing= trying to get rid of the ones nobody has taken any interest in :tired:

Hi this is my first post but I do read threads on here. I recently rescued 2 older kittens from Lesley Eight Lives in Gosport. Before I came across her I had been looking on different sites for kittens, and alarm bells rang for me when I saw kittens for sale due to change in circumstances, reason being was a lady was advertisng for herself, but it was a very similar advert for a 'male friend' who had a change in circumstances. There were quite a few kittens and breeding queens.
Don't know if this helps/hinders, but it was also in Fareham.

Hi Nicky
Nice to see you post at last, hope Charlie and Angel are doing okay.
There are quite a few suspicious advertisers in the Fareham area, often saying they are changing circumstances or their cat does not get on with others, but they often have two or three adverts on the same site. I always check the phone numbers and google the number to see if other adverts come up :shify:
-
Could they be reported to rspca? They shouldn't be breeding when they have bacterias in the house which is making the kittens ill >:( They are potentially passing on these kittens to unsuspecting people and possibly making their other cats sick.
-
Hi Lesley, its a shame that people get away with it. After having seen what you have to put up with I would never get another kitten/cat that wasn't a rescue.
Charlie and Poppy(we changed her name.) are both great lovely little cats, full of personality. We love them a lot. They fitted straight in and are happy, running around like mad playing with the balls(7) that I rescued from under the fridge....I've been throwing the ball down the hallway Charlie plays with it then waits for me to throw it again. He runs around with it in his mouth.
On wednesday they had their 2nd vaccinations, and are booked in to be neutered on 14th Oct.
Hope all ok and not many cats coming in now.
Nicky

Strange how since I mentioned that there are some dodgy adverts in the Fareham, Hampshire area on a certain site, the adverts are now appearing saying they are in Hampshire, Hampshire- but when you look at map they are in Fareham, Hampshire!!! :shify: :shify:
