RACR:
On the 26/12/10 we was handed in a black cat in a terrible state by a lady in Hyson Green area. She had let her dogs out and the cat crawled in.. Upon arriving it was apperent this boy is very badly poorly and injured with possible RTA.. We settled him with IV fluids under the skin, glucos IV, metacam and anti biotics.. He had puss oozing from his eyes, back legs splayed, dehydrated, very thin and a possible fractured/broken jaw..

Today (27/12/10) we took him straight to our vets where our vet confirmed RTA, damage to right eye, his intestines had come ut internaly, broken jaw and possible other internal injuries.. He is now admitted and under going surgery to replace intestines, wire his jaw and anything else surgicaly that is found and possible to repair. We still don't know yet if he will pull through as it depends on what other damage internaly is found. After surgery he is going to need alot of intensive care given to help him recover with alot more vet visits. We are hoping his eye will heal but there is a chance if it doesnt he will have to have it removed at a later date.

This boys operations now and future ongoing treatment to help him recover are going to cost alot of money! Funds are currently dry and we already have outstanding vet bills. If anyone can help towards funds, no matter how little to help us cover costs for this boy to carry on receiving the treatment he needs we would hugely appreciate it.

You can donate eith via paypal to racr@btinternet.com or by cheque postal order made payable to RACR or by paying direct into our bank at any Lloyds TSB branch or bank transfer.. Please message us or email racr@btinternet.com for details.

We have named him Felek which is latin for lucky..
