Ok thats my promise I'll sort out any software problems, driver issues, internet issues, Start up and close down problems, slow running, virus, No boot up issues, Data recovery etc etc.
Generally this type of repair takes between 1 hour and 4 hours and I charge £15.00 per half hour on a `no fix no fee basis'
This is a software only offer not hardware so obviously this would not include the cost of any broken parts that need replacing which would be beyond the scope of this auction
If you are not sure if it is a software or hardware problem please email me and I'll try to diagnose the problem before you bid.
So the auction is for a 1 hour service repair worth £30.00 (or £69.00 at PC World ) . If I cannot fix the problem I will refund the member ie pay the £30.00 to Ron's cats.
Please note due to the size and weight of most tower system computers this will be a local deliver collect offer but I regularly travel 50 miles radius from Somerset so a pickup deliver may be possible depending on location
good luck

Don't panic! Nick has two promises in this auction. You had bid (bidded?!) on the other one. It's here (http://www.chaptanservices.com/purrs/index.php?topic=473.0).
Deeeeeeep breaths. :shy:

Just thought I had finally cracked

You don't necessarily have to use this promise immediately you can save it for a rainy day . You know the kind of day when the TV packs up, the door to the washing machine falls off and floods the kitchen and the pooter doesn't boot up :censored: dayum :(

Nick, can I ask you this? I downloaded IE7 this week. It took four attempts (I'm a bozo) and I now have an extra 125k files on my PC. If you could talk me over the phone how to ditch the redundant files (which are slowing me up no end, as you can imagine) I'd make a donation to Ron irrespective of this auction item.
NB this is my office PC so the price of failure is HIGH.

Christine I have PM'd you :)

I'm afraid that after careful consideration I have decided to withdraw this offer .I had thought it might be useful offer but after a rather unfortunate start I have decided otherwise.
Apologies to those that have already bid.
-
:( oh dear I hope there hasn't been a disaster.
Thanks anyway Nick, it was a good thought.
-
no disaster fortunatly
just my pride wounded :)
-
It was me (offline) and I apologise to Nick unreservedly. I urge you Nick to reinstate your offers. Sorry. C

Awww, what a shame, would have bid the full price at end aswell even if no other offers. Would have been nice to have had our old computer we've been using seen to (it's very slow) whilst ours is in PC World being repaired. Never mind :(
