RIP Gershwin. I like the name and had not thought about it for a cat so the next little boy I have whose name is unknown shall be named Gershwin

Gershwin was my neighbours, Daph & Jon's cat. He was 11 1/2. He lost a lot of weight recently and needed to have his thyroid removed. He recovered but developed gastric problems and needed to be PTS. He was the cutest cat and I used to feed him when they were away. Daph feels terrible as her father died recently as well. She said the house isn't the same without Gershwin there. She will get another cat one day but at the moment she can still feel Gershwin's Presence.

I don't have a photo but this is a painting Jon did. Daph said she is happy that they will still be selling greetings cards and keyrings etc with Gershwin on.
