Title: It's Drum and Bass' birthday/gotcha day

Seven years ago today - yes, SEVEN - we brought these lovely ladies home. And that means they're 17 years old.  :Crazy: 

Drum is now completely deaf but she just uses it as an excuse to sing the song of her people even louder. She is still a comedian who runs around like a crazy thing - apparently no-one's told her she's an old lady.

Bass has been through a lot this year (too many blood tests to count, and surgery) but she's still a sweet-natured, affectionate thing who loves nothing better than being on the sofa with us in the evening.

And they still make me laugh every day - except when Bass pukes up a furball at 4am (although it did make someone else laugh when I told them why I was tired).

They had a lovely day which included chicken, prawns and Dreamies.  ;D
