Title: Leonie and the cat scratcher
Post by: lau200 on March 03, 2013, 12:40:58 PM
I find in our house that every now and again, old and ignored toys find a new lease of life with the cats taking a sudden and overdue interest. Leonie decided the old cat scratcher that had been abandoned in favour of 2 newer ones was the ideal place to play.

Leonie lived with me for about 3 weeks as someone dumped her on my doorstep in te snow.

I came home from shopping mid December and she walked into my house, She had iceblocks in her tail and was starving.

Its thought she was dumped cos she was well fed but a very small cat, thoiught she was about 4 months old.

She is so beautiful and her markings are great.

Lau very kindly agreed to adopt her and she made the long journey from SW Wales with another cat who I was helping transport to Birmingham I think but Leonie was on her way to Cheshire.

Lau took her for speying and when they shaved her they found her spey scar! She waa a bit older than two vets thought!

Leonie was called Pussy while here lol and she wormed her way into my heart so quickly but my four cats didnt like her or her them. Well except Napoleon who knew he was the cats whiskers and used to just saunter in, ignoring her and climb onto his place under my chin. I think they would have got on quite well  ;D

There is a thread called something like Help look what I have, with all the original Pussy pictures

Probaby a search for Pussy will bring it up!

My two will do that too - a much-love toy will be ignored for weeks and then suddenly become flavour of the month again  :innocent:    I've started changing the toys every week now and putting the 'old' ones in a box in the cupboard for a few weeks.
