This is the original thread. Boston and Ky were homed together recently as they're more bonded than this rather handsome man.
Puzos info:
Cat Name: Puzo
Cat Age: 6 years
Cat Sex: Male
Colour: Ginger
Neutered: Yes
Microchip: Yes
I'm told he's a lovely laid back lad, but they're unsure how he'd be with other cats as he was quite indifferent to Boston and Ky.
Get in touch if you think you can offer this boy the loving home he deserves.
-
Bump.
-
JS - do hope someone wants to give a loving home to this gorgeous ginger boy :Luv2: :Luv2:
Been waiting since May last year and recently Boston and Ky went to their new fabulous home - so even though not bonded, he must be finding it all a bit confusing :(
-
Agreed. The lack of other felines must be a bit disorientating.
-
Puzo is still looking.
-
I'd have thought a handsome hunk like Puzo would be snapped up straight away :( Wish I had room for him ;D
-
Still looking!
-
Bumping this boy up.
-
And again.
-
My goodness, poor boy :(
-
Sadly, and again.
-
He's so gorgeous, I can't believe he's still looking! Why don't I have more space and money!?
-
He is a beauty!
-
That's a shame he lives away up in Nottingham, I would love to give him a home. but i bet he needs a garden.
-
He's lovely. Same boat as you, FC. And I think he is used to outside access, yes.
-
I have to admit I did think of Puzo before getting Archie but then worried about getting him to London and he and Ella not getting on!
-
omg I'd soooooo take him in but distance is a problem. I'd be happy to take him in a trial it for a few weeks to see if he settled though, but I'm like 70 miles from Nottingham :-(
-
Whereabouts are you Kerri?
-
St Helens, Merseyside - near liverpool x
-
That's a shame he lives away up in Nottingham, I would love to give him a home. but i bet he needs a garden.
I dont know about that cos he had two 'friends' who have a home with a Purrs member and live in a flat with a balcony down south.
They are gorgeous, one white and one black and poor Puzo now on his own and neeeding a home.
Worth investigating I reckon cos if he is as lovely as the other two then he needs a chance.
-
You're right he needs a home! I would be willing to take him on too but distance is a problem as i dont drive :( x
-
The other two came by relay, passing another relay with two cats going up North.........so it can be done ;D
-
Would it be possible to relay back if he didnt settle here or would i take him to local place? X
-
No I dont think that would be possible cos relays cost a lot of money petrolwise and think you will find that all rescues are jammed to busting.
So its always a risk as is taking in any new cat
-
I think its worth taking the risk then. You're right. Anynew cat is a risk potentially.
-
Hes a stunner :Luv2:
its not that he dislikes other cats is it- it says hes indifferent, he may just be happy finding his own corner in the house and leaving the others to it :wow:
he is so good looking i cant understand why no one would want him! Im tempted myself but sense is ruling over heart today so know its not practical at mine atm untill the other two are settled in properly as still in the mad kitten stage :shy:
-
Yup, you have to be sensible about your existing feline family. There's been a few I've wished I could help and offer a home to recently but with our current trio it's just not practical....
So what needs to be asked? If he needs access to the outdoors and how he'd be with other cats...Can both people showing an interest maybe post a little more about their cats? Personality wise? A vet reference would be required from current vets if a home check wasn't possible too. Just precautionary.
-

i helped move the other 2 :Luv: as im in nottingham and i have a mate in warrington im due to visit soon if that helps- i.e i could take him to warrington or somewhere near/on the way
That's a shame he lives away up in Nottingham, I would love to give him a home. but i bet he needs a garden.
again, im in notts and parents are in stevenage (junction 8 of A1, 10 on M1) and im due to visit soon so could do most of the way to you if someone can handle the M25 bit (im sooooo scarded of the M25!)
So i officially volunteer for transport run duties for this guy! Hes been waiting far too long :(
-
after thinking about it I don't think my two would help him to settle in. Davey is territorial with other males especially, while tinks is still in kitten mode and would torment the hell out of him.
Its a shame really as I really would like to help him, he looks so sweet. Part of me was thinking that I could try it out and see if it worked, but if it didnt work he'd be back at square one having to then settle into another new place until he was rehomed, so in effect I am not doing him any favours. Not to mention that he'd be stressed out after a 70 mile trip :-(
I hope somebody can help him though, it's such a shame he's not got a home yet xxx
-
Such a shame Puzo is still looking - he's such a babe.
-
Unbelievably, still looking....
-
So sad I wish someone would take him
-
Me too. He's with the people that posted him free to a good home, and I think he'll only be getting the basics - food, water, litter change. Doesn't make them bad folk, but we all know felines need more than that. ;)
-
I cant believe it either -he looks so chilled out on the pic! :Luv2:
Im sure he would be the perfect gent in the right home if given the chance :(
there has to be a family out there for him!
-
I can't believe it either - Puzo is just so gorgeous :Luv: There has to be someone out there who can give him a forever home. If I was feline free I'd be snapping him up in a jiffy!
-
Received this today:
"I hope you had a happy easter and that you are well. I was just wondering if there is any chance of a home coming up for Puzo anytime soon. I have had to move him to my house this weekend, as he can no longer stay at my daughters. Unfortunatley I cannot keep him on a permanent basis and I am desperate to find him a good home. He is such a loving cat, that he deserves a loving home, he has been fine with my lively grandchildren but at the moment trying to keep out of the way of my cats (who are trying to lay down the law with him!!!"
-
Bless his heart :(
-
Poor boy, he really deserves a home of his own :(
-
I agree.
-
When I saw this thread bumped up I was hoping it was because Puzo had found himself a new home :( He's so adorable :Luv:
-
I can't believe he is still looking either
-
Someone interested on CatChat. Has two rescue cats and dogs already, so have tried to get more info on how this boy is with dogs.
-
Puzo it seems has never been around dogs. BUT the potential home has experience introducing nervous cats to dogs and are aware slow intros are needed so I think it might work out. His new home would be in a converted coach house in a rural setting.....am organising a vet reference in the next few days. :)
-
I thought he didnt like other cats?
-
He's indifferent Gill. There was to my knowledge, never any aggression from him towards the others, he just wasn't bonded like Olwyn and Celwyn are. :)
I've told the lady that has him the home details and she feels that because the couple offering the home are experienced in intros things should be OK.
-
Sounds promising! I do hope he gets himself a new home.
-
Just about to update. :) Vet references glowing, so now need to organise transport. :)
-
wheres he going to? i can do notts to about an hour away
-
I think Kristin who is adopting him can meet the transport chain at Stoke on Trent and finish the run. She's in Cheshire. :)
-
Hope it goes well for the gorgeous man x

Good luck to the gorgeous man - I hope it works out for him and he settles in well.
-
I've just seen this :wow: Im so, so happy for him! :)
Celyn and Olwyn send him big Purrs and Kitty Hugs and wish him the very, very best in his new "Forever home"
-
