There is going to come a day when he falls in :evillaugh:

Can I just say that ''Kitty'' (Buster is SO not a suitable name for him) is AMAZING,
OH AND HIS NAME WON'T BE 'KITTY'. (we are just getting to know him - we call him Husky the Wolf right now as he looks like one!
I rather like the name Buster :-: OH (who did all the driving on our leg because I woke up this morning with a sore eye) fell in love with him and called him Stumpy (a term of endearment I hasten to add not a cruel jibe )
HELLO!!! I AM BACK!!!
Give me a couple of minutes and I will give you the full update with pics AND videos!
I love Billy Bobtail! What a sweet name.

Oi............... you have had your couple of minutes (infact over 30 of them :evillaugh: )
He's quite a "dumpy" little lad isn't he :evillaugh: :evillaugh: For some reason I thought he be a skinny mini.
Thanks peeps! He is really lovely and chilled out. I can't believe RCPSA wanted him to be put down - why? Nicky is a hero for sticking to her guns and saving his life :Luv:

One of the many reasons why after successfully getting through selection and being offered a job as an RSPCA Inspector I turned it down.
Well done to everyone involved! It's nice that Buster was not fazed by his long day and I'm suprised Karen didn't manage to loose one of her children in the cat box at the same time.  (oh the joy of school tomorrow Karen :briggin:)
with the catproofing I think most situations can be dealt we did have to cut down quite a lot of stuff in our garden but once that was done the proofing part was easyWas it expensive?
Was thinking about his name and just googled the Swedish translation of Husky and it's 'skalliknande' - maybe not :evillaugh::rofl:
Yes exactly - he is very excited and wants to do everything at once! Bless..
Sounds to me like he's thoroughly enjoying his new surroundings, but sometimes just finds it all a bit exciting and overwhelming, hence trying everything out once, twice - three times. "I sleeps here - I sleeps there. No, I sleeps here."
As he's a bit wobbley still, he's probably forgetting that he had a major accident and didn't feel so good, cos now - he feels grrrrreat! Just that his back legs haven't quite caught up with how grrrreat he's feeling yet ;D
'Buster' has been through a nasty ordeal but he seems to be doing extremely well! As for the poo on his bum, thats probably just another thing to do with getting used to things after the accident, it might not be quite as easy to clean as before but cats are very clever and he'll figure it out. Casper was peeing with absolutely no aim at all when he first came back from the vets but gets it in the box every time these days!Good point - yes that is probably why - he gets a bit annoyed at his stump at times too - I think his stitches are itching a bit now.
we did it ourselves it cost about £100 for a 60 ft by 40 ft garden, we had to catproof the conservatory and garden shed roof and even the wheelie bins just in case!! doing the roof involved attaching the netting to the guttering - the worst thing about it was cutting down our lovely hawthorne tree that we planted when we moved inThat is a good price - our garden is smaller than that. Another problem is that our main entrance is through the garden - not sure what to do with post/parcels/postmen.
Nanook was (I think!) a male husky dog is The Lost Boys! ;)
'Buster' Bugaboo Bugsy Malone
- he has been sleeping ALL day. I hope this is normal and that he is just knackered from the BIG day yesterday, as well as all the surgery and stuff...
'Buster' Bugaboo Bugsy Malone
Awww now i like that ;)
I'm sure when I was a kid people just left them in the garden all summer! still cat care has changed at lot since the 70's as well
Strange you should say about the massage pillow though, I bought a massage cushion thing for the chair yesterday (incidentally it's the best invention EVER!) and Lu was really freaked out by it today. Like you say it's just a quiet buzzing noise but he'll happily lay on the bed next to me while I'm drying my hair or eat his tea in the kitchen while the washing machine is on but he did NOT like the noise the massager was making. I ended up turning it off for him, I'm such a pushover :evillaugh:
A little update - and a question of concern:
'Buster' is doing well, he is very affectionate and follows us around everywhere. He purrs and seems happy. HOWEVER, tonight Robin turned his massage pillow thing on, and it made a slight low volume buzzing sound. It freaked 'Buster' out big time. He couldn't work out what it was, so R turned it off and put it away. Since then he's been really jumpy and on edge. He even hissed at a toy he usually loves playing with. He won't let us touch him, ducks down and moves away. It is really upsetting. R put a movie on, and they are on the sofa now, but 'Buster' is still being weird.
Maybe it's a sound he recognises from the vets? Thing is, it was not even loud, like a hair dryer - and we've had both the dishwasher and washing machine on while he's been here. I really hope he is not becoming freaked out.
I know he's had a crazy few weeks, and although he seems settled here I guess he still associates certain things with things that has happened to him. I just hope he hasn't changed and that he will relax.
I will go and check on him now
.
Bless, he looks SO comfy where he is it's really hard not to go up and kiss him every 2 seconds :Luv:
Buster Bugaboo Bugsy Malone Coyote Whitesox
Couple more for you: Shanti (Coyote) and Khan (Coyote)
Although I do love Buster Bugaboo Bugsy Malone. ;)
I think we've got a name ;) Will try it out during the day and let you know if it's right!!
BY THE WAY
I just noticed that Bugaboo has 1 upper fang missing! And the bottom one (on same side; right hand side) is split in half. What should I know about this, health & feeding-wise?!
Capone is a fab name.
I wouldn't worry too much about his teeth, i've known completely toothless cats and dogs carry on eating dry food. ;)
do you think he would give me lessons in applying eyeliner? He has really beautiful eyes :Luv:Applying eyeliner is his speciality ;)
i assume that you will now be calling him Al then :shify: :shify:He he - you'd think a nickname would be shorted than the actual name. I call him ''El Capoterooney''. But that's just me :shify:
I just love his eyes, so unusual. That's because he is a husky wolf bear cat ;) Not just 'a standard cat'. :) :shify:

We on Purrs know there is no such thing as a standard cat :) they're all special in their own way
That's because he is a husky wolf bear cat ;) Not just 'a standard cat'. :) :shify:
Yes, a VERY unusual breed. So far only 1 has been spotted... ;)That's because he is a husky wolf bear cat ;) Not just 'a standard cat'. :) :shify:
Would that be the lesser spotted husky wolf bear cat variety? :evillaugh:
He's beautiful. Charlie wants to know when can Capone join the army>?Tell Charlie that as soon as Capones backlegs are strong enough, and his tail stump scar has healed, he will apply for a position!
We are calling him Husky Bear-Wolf Capone.
:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: Fab name for a fab cat.
Love the pic of him holding onto his mousey on the chair
Are we starting a gangster club Helena?  Well, actually - Capone sometimes has this expression with his eyes - that makes him resemble an Owl. So we call him Owl Capone!
My Bonnie and your Capone We need Clyde and Al now  :evillaugh:  :Luv2:
