The new Purrs shop coming as soon so we can will sell exciting goods personalized with your cat/s or just Purrs logo to help us make regular donations to support the cat Rescues on Purrs.
100% of all the profits from the shop will go into a rescue fund and this fund will be given in rotation at a set period of time or a set amount yet to be decided to all our rescues. This is simular to what Cat chat does with their shop. All the rescues will be checked as much as we can (most of them have been already) so we know that all the the money will go directly for the needy cats.
The list i have at the mo of Rescues but before the shop opens, more may be added.

Any other cat rescues are quite welcome to add their name to this thread so they can be checked and included on our fund list. ;D

I might be able to help with contacts. It depends what you want to sell in the shop. I assume that 100% will go to the rescues.
Please give me an idea and I'll see what I can do. Teresa at Paws Inn has seen some of the stuff so, hopefully, she will vouch for the quality.

Tan its for worthwhile causes and just let me know when as now I have access from Ireland I can shop in the evening and get stuff our mob need and help out the ones who aren't so lucky as our own darling furballs 8)

The idea of the rescues getting the money is the same but the list is changing and all rescues that have given us their names will shortly be receiving a letter and a questionnaire because in the last year we have handed over a large amount of money to rescues on Purrs but we need to start having some accountability for the members money which we are giving away.
Tan being an accountant already keeps accounts for the site and we need some other paperwork to back it up and we also need to show that we are giving members money to rescues that are bonafide,,,,,,,,,,,ummm is that how you spell it. ;D
Sooooooo we hope very much that rescues that we know are ummm bonafide dont mind filling in the paperwork as well as any new names that we are considering. ;D
Once we have received all the papers back then we will decide on the list, all good fun if you dont weaken................ummmmmmmm Christine where did that saying come from please :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Being I am a special Purr :shify: :shify: I have had a preview of this shop and its most magnifcant and I havent seen any spelling mistakes yet. ;D
Yes you will be able to pay by Paypal so that means you can use your cards but reckon you need keep them locked up :rofl: :rofl:
There are some lovely goodies already in there and more to come and if sales are good well who knows what we might come up with.
Remember all the profit from the shop will be donated to rescues on Purrs so you do two good things, get something nice for you or your cats , and give some money to one of our rescues ;D

The prices of the products all include UK delivery so nothing is added at the end. The price you see is the price you pay. :)
There are reviews for each item that you can write if you have already brought the Da bird and accessories to let peeps know what you think ;). Sadly i haven;t found a way for you to include pics of your wonderful babes playing with them yet but i will try again tomorrow.
Can ya let me know what you think of the prices? Are we charging too much or too little? I have covered the costs of buying, packaging & Uk delivery and a small profit so if you think we could be charging a little more for some items, please let me know cause more can go to the rescues then ;D ;D

I dont know if I have done something wrong-I have paid by paypal for some items from the shop, but they are still showing in my cart and not under items I have purchased?
Is there a way to check if the transaction has gone through?

I can't see it either but I have got all the photo options turned off could that be why? I'll turn them back on at lunchtime and have a look

You should have a concrats message from the shop that your purch has been completed and alos emails from paypal that you have paid. i will check for ya xx
Dawn how do you view the top menu buttons/ are they in text for you with pics off? The shop button is after the chat one on the top menu.

I have had the reciot in my email from Paypal saying I have paid, but in the shop the items are still in the cart??? :'(

It went to paypal for me to pay, then when I went "back to merchant" after paying, it still looked like I hadn't.
I ordered a replacement feather for Da Bird, and a Da puff too. :wow:

HUn are they still in your cart/ if so can ya try going to checkout and say pay by chq. then let me know if your cart clears. xx
Tested this all last night but obviously some teething errors will get it sorted

Oh and I HAVE to get a Da Bird - I found a feather when walking to front door (with the little cat that now walks me home :rofl: ) and I took it in an tied it to the end of sheepmouse string ( :evillaugh: ) as an experiment - it wasn't half as good as the real thing, obviously - but it had them all running around and meowing like mad.

I only use my credit card for pay pal and it is over £100 :scared: - been buying too many kittiy prezzies. I have pre-ordered my A5 diary though, can't wait for that. Once my bill is cleared, I will order some more goodies, I like the hen feathers, think the cats will love those. They already have the Da Bird, best toy I have bought. There are tons to choose from. Hope the rescues get lots of dosh.
Got to order my cat protection Christmas cards, thats £75. Only just got paid and I'm brassic.
