Title: Applaws cat food - natural & high quality
Post by: Beth82 on October 01, 2012, 11:59:51 AM

Owning a bengal, I've had to skip the 'normal' cat food and stick to wet foods that have 70% and over in meats.  So i'm always looking for bargins.  When I saw on zooplus that applaws are letting out pouched foods, I was ecstatic, esp at £4.49 for 6 pouches.   Yes, it's a little higher than the normal but if you want to give your kitty a treat, they will go nuts for this stuff!

Our Bengal east what the rest of the Clan eat and is in tip top condition

I only use Applaws for ill cats as it is expensive, can recommend some of the tinned stuff on Zooplus as ours eat about 390 tins a month thats 14 a day approx so we do shop around for tin bargins

Another great food is Bozita wet our Bengal Porsche loves the stuff

If I feed Rori just anything, I am the one regretting it, whilst she has a dicky tum  :(

So I have to stick to the cat foods that have a high meat content in it, plus they both poo less...........no complaints from me

tilly had a dodgy tum when I first got her and she was put on royal canin sensitive for a few months which worked wonders she hasn't had a problem since - she is now 7 so whatever it did it did well!

I've got the girls on a diet of raw/carny and kibble.   I swear by carny, it's superb.  Honey has a farting issue and since being on that, she's not been smelly  Rori will refuse most foods now, so she has a mix of carny kitten, raw, kibble and applaw (applaw mixed in with carny).

I'm hoping as she gets on, I can mix the applaw with adult carny and she won't notice (much).

This is a result from bad breeding  :shify: vets wanted her on ID but she had other plans   I have a family member who works for a petstore in the local garden center who gets me discounts on applaws, so I get it at cost price and not retail, which is a fab thing.

yeah it's a supplement, they do do a complete food but I've only seen them in shop and not online.  Carny is good to feed as a complete too
