I found this video today and it really brings back memories when I had a cat,  I'm sure you can add a few things:

It did make me think that a good old Christmas tree might a cheaper version of the cat tree   orrrrrrrr maybe not. :evillaugh:

I do have a  Cairn X who is very cat like, but there is a worry about getting another moggy.  I have asthma caused by allergies and I worry that a cat may cause problems, as I've got breathless around some cats before.  When the house is pet free again I'll take myself along to the local rescue for a nice cat test to see.  My current dog just chases cats although he grew up with them.
