Heres a few more pics, not very good but they may help, the only white on him is under chin tiny amount, he is right age group , neutered, no chip.Wish he was your Bailey and hope you find him soon

Thanks for the extra pictures and information, unfortuently Bailey wasn't chipped when he went missing (1 year and 7 months ago now) he was neteured though, i'm just compairing pictures to see if theres a link between the two, which is proving rather difficult, i know its a long shot but i thought i'd ask.

Looking at the pictures together it looks as though they have different cheeks, i can't quite see his neck colouring in the picture you have, but Baileys is defined stripes

i've attached some of Bailey's pictures below

There certainly is a resemblance. Where are you located again Joanne?

A lot of tabby's look very similar. Its a very long way, but if he got in a truck or similar it is possible. If you know of a particular mark that was unique to him, any markings that are a particular shape then it will help Teresa see if he maybe does have a home, and also will give you the answer you need to know sooner rather than later

I have just been out to have another look at him,the teeny almost white bow under nose is same, white bit under chin same and bands round neck same but my eye sight is poor, He responds to my voice at all times so its no good calling the name Bailey, cant get better pics at present either as he must stay in Pen, will get Claire to hold him on saturday and take some proper ones.

Yes I agree tabby's do look rather alike, so its difficult to tell, I also agree the distance is rather a long way away...which makes me think it probably isn't him

I'm sure i can find a unique mark as i have a few more pictures, which i can upload...some are when he was a younger kitten though and Teresa if you could please take a few more pictures on saturday so i can see that would be good, thank you...i'll upload my other pictures later today, and await saturday then. I agree he also looks very lovely even if he is or isn't Bailey

Its going to be very hard for you Joanne because your Bailey left as a big kitten and wherever he is will be fully grown. Try checking paw pads for toe colours etc, Bailey will have a mark somewhere? Such a shame about the lack of a microchip

yes i agree with you Teresa its difficult to tell especially because he went missing when he was 8 months old, and now he would be 2 years old, heres more pictures of Bailey i've attached below

Hi Joanne

I just wanted to say that he is a gorgeous boy.  I am sure that looking at his pictures makes you both happy and sad.  I know how you feel as I still have a boy missing and it will be 3 years in June.

I will help T take some better photos on saturday so that we can double check.

We have to live in hope.

Claire xx

Hello Claire,
thank you! and yes he is a very cute boy, i just wish i knew where he was, and i'm sorry to hear your little boy has been missing too, if you can take more pictures that would be good, thanks again...i know Cheshire is a long way away but i just want to be sure it is or isn't our Bailey.

Have you Teresa looked around in your area to see if anyone more local has lost a tabby cat?

Hi Teresa,
Thank you for getting more pictures...it took me a while to look and compair between the pictures, but i'm almost certain i can say it isn't our Bailey, although they both look so alike, i found that the boy you have has more stripes on his front legs, of which i compaired with a few other pictures of Bailey i have, then i found the cheek area didn't match up, as Bailey has an 8 shape on his right cheek but a lying down 8 like this...OO, although i hoped and wished it was our Bailey, i can safely say it isn't.

I'm ever so greatful for your help and support though, you do have a lovely handsome boy there  :Luv2:

the picture i've attached below, shows clearly Baileys black patch which i also found didn't match
