No news of the missing kitten, but Herbie is now well settled and having great fun watching the holy terrors from his cage
( must point out that he is totally isolated but able to watch the others). I now have 3 collapsible pens in my living room and each has a jingly ball tied with ribbon and hung from top of Pen, can you imagine the noise from 9 sets of paws batting away  all great fun.
Scallywag and Blackbeard have been causing problems attacking human hands when the toys are taken away after playtime and so yesterday Debbie and I went to Pets at Home and bought a couple of new scratching posts and all sorts of toys, we put loads in Pen with boys along with new post which  is more designed for play than anything, within minutes it needed repair, boys growled and killed the toys till they were exhausted and thankfully problem much improved.
We also got Buddy and Daisy a posh new post and toys and they had great fun. Baby Bea`s eye caught sight of a strange toy with a sqeeking mouse inside it and when you bat it the mouse`s 2 blue eyes light up, Flower and Little Weed were very impressed with the squeeking mice so all things considered a very worthwhile shopping trip.
We also had a lovely lady visit, she brought some food and a wonderful sort of cat maze, kittens had to find the hidden biscuits in it, they did so in 2 seconds flat  though will be honest Buddy and Daisy were a bit thick when their turn came

The new arrival is gorgeous - and he washes himself.  :wow:  I know I shouldn't be wishing yet more kittens on you but I hope for both
their sakes that he will soon be joined by his litter mate.  And I hope for your sake that his litter mate is as clean as he is.    Maybe he could give lessons to the long-haired holy terrors who are still swimming in their food.  :-:

I am very impressed with new boy ( name to be announced later ) have already taught him to use litter tray, he is lapping ok and my word he washes himself well.I removed his ticks last night hopefully I got the lot. He is a good bit smaller than the holy terrors and I feel so sad that he is alone.
His litter mate is still out but guard is trying to get him as I gather there are dangers from other animals on site.Hopefully littermate will soon be safe..
Holy terrors have had a good run round causing as much mayhem as they could and I am worn out, Aunty Julie has now gone out to play with the older ones dont know where she gets the energy especially as Scallywag can be a holy terror too!

A year since Christopher and James agreed to adopt you, Frances?  Never!    :evillaugh:

Teresa, Fade to Grey is so sweet.  He looks very serious, but then I guess when you're a tittentat on yer own, and not all growed up yet, fud is a very serious business.

Am also hoping he's a clean little body, ratherthan another muckspot.

It's the boyz first anniversary today of their capturing a slave adoption, so James says prrrrrp and Christopher says squeee to all the Paws Inn inmates still waiting for a slave of their own  .

And a special   for Teresa from all three of us for coping with the holy terrors.

OMG its not a year is it??? those lovely black boys I saw that looked at me as though to say from one...helllllooooooo and the other whaaaaattt are you looking at???(nvere did work out who was who)
I so wanted to take them home but having a cat that doesnt like company it wasnt possible...that said making a choice over purrs babies is impossible

Teresa, notice you haven't been online for a few days. Hope you and everyone at the Inn are OK

We are all fine  :thanks:

Aunty Carol came yesterday and we had a lovely time teaching holy terrors to wash. I found myself licking my own hand and wiping my face ,think kittens just thought mad woman  Then came a brilliant idea we put a huge blob of butter on a plate and one by one gave each kitten a complete butter facial, bib and front legs  we really thought we had cracked it when kittens said " thanks this is good" and began licking themselves furiously. Sadly when I put my glasses on I could see they were no cleaner so 3 very dirty kittens Pixie, Willy and Wilbur were put in the kitchen sink and covered with baby shampoo  Aunty Carol did a good job with the hairdryer and within a couple of hours they were mucky again after being fed. I should I suppose be thankful that the other 5 now wash themselves properly.
I can truthfully say that this litter has been the hardest I have ever coped with and will be the first to admit they have been too much.
All the other cats and kittens are doing well, no hope of homes at present.

Some not too good pics as terrors are like grease lightening but it gives an idea of the remarkable progress Wilbur has made, they all saw vet Andy on Friday and Andy gave Wilbur a thorough going over before declaring he now has nothing more than Intentioal tremor.

These people annoy me so much. You're doing all you can Teresa, and it's frustrating that people who breed their cats never take five minutes to look online at how many cats and kittens already urgently need a home.  Or even visit a local rescue and ask how long any of the felines have been there.....

Carol, congrats on your two new family members.

I have just said no to these little ones, it is heartbreaking but time I realised no more.

A quick note regards Carols bag, I should have sneaked the 8 holy terrors in but struggled to carry said bag as it was
