This auction is for a custom made Snuggly Cat Scoodie, hand crocheted just for you! ;D
What is a Scoodie, I hear you ask? Simple: if you take a top and add a hood, you get a hoodie, right? Well, if you take a scarf and add a hood, you get a Scoodie! 8)
This is one I recently finished making for my God-daughter for Christmas, but the pattern (originally by Tamara on Moogly Blog) has an Adult size too:
Now, I realise neon pink isn't to everyone's taste, so here's what you will get for your money:
One child or adult size Snuggly Cat Scoodie hand crocheted with double strands of either Stylecraft Special or Caron Simply Soft Aran yarn with:
- Your choice of main colour
- Your choice of contrast colour (for the ear insides and paw prints)
- Your choice of overall scarf length (within reason! ;) The hood is positioned in the middle of the scarf)
You can find the available colours here:
Stylecraft Special (http://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/special-aran-all-colours)
Caron Simply Soft (http://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/caron-simply-soft-all-colours)
Just a few things further to bear in mind when bidding ;)
- The pattern is crocheted with two strands of yarn at once, so it is very warm and snuggly, but eats yarn! An average Scoodie takes 6 to 8 balls of yarn to make
- They take me up to 20 hours to make, depending on size, as I've only recently restarted to crochet and haven't found my turbo button yet ;)
- Unfortunately I probably won't be able to dispatch this in time for Christmas, as the wool has to be ordered and I already have a lot to do too - sorry about that...
- If you would prefer not to have the ears, I can leave them off
- It's all in a good cause! ;D
Bearing all that in mind, can I suggest an opening bid of at least £10, please? Good luck! :wow:
-
My 4yr old niece would love this!
£10 starting bid from me ;D

I am so chuffed I got this! I have a holiday to norway next year and will need to stay wrapped up warm :) can I have it as long as you fancy? (Obviously within reason :evillaugh:) oh, and adult size.
Colours, hmmm.... I would like from the caron website the main in 0014 pagoda and the ears and paw prints in 0012 passion.
The holiday isn't until February, so no rush. ;D ;D ;D
Oh and paid by bank transfer ;D
-
Hi Jen,
I'm glad you're glad you got it! ;D Norway, eh? Sounds fun - and cold!
OK, so Caron Pagoda green for the main and Passion purple for the paws and ears.
Is long enough to wrap around the neck completely and still secure in front long enough? ;)
~Jes

Has this been sorted?
Hi Gill,
This is being custom made, and all necessary arrangements and requirements have been sorted, yes, but it won't be sent out until after Christmas/the new year, sorry - I did warn that this would probably be the case in the description due to how busy I am, and it will be coming with me over my Christmas break to keep me entertained in the evenings :) I've only just finished the last one I have to make for Christmas! I have one different thing to make for Christmas, then this is next on my crochet To Do list, promise! Jen is aware and happy with that :)
Sorry to keep you all hanging on, though :(
Jes
