This is dutchess she is 3 years old and i am looking for a loving home for her, She came to me about 8 months ago as she was being ill treated by previous owners with the previous owners not telling me she dont get on with male cats.
As i have 2 cats a female and male she attacks my male cat like anything, my male cat as been neutred and she still attacks him, We thought it was because she was pregnent and then we thought it might of been because she had kittens and was protecting them, As we was unaware she was pregnent as well when she came to us.
So after waiting to see if things settled and the kittens finding new homes, she still hasent calm down, So looking to rehome her with no other male cat,
She is a very loving cat she loves kids and is very affectionate she is cat litter trained she likes to go out but just as much like to stay in espically on hot days
If anyone could offer dutchess a loving home i would very much apprecaite it as it nto fair putting her under threat by my male cat and my male cat being under threat from her

Hello and :welcome: to Purrs
Dutchess is beautiful, I am sure that you will not be waiting too long to home her as white cats are not easy to come by
:luck:

Not sure if i can see it in your post but has duchess now been spayed as that may be a large part of the problem as to why she attacks the other cats
-
Bumping up Duchess.
-
And again....Duchess is on other sites and is still looking.
-
Duchess is unspayed.....
-
Can the owner not contact local CP to get her spayed. I dislike the idea of rehoming a unspayed female...!
-
Sent you a PM.

Thank you! But i am sure if the cat was spayed she may calm down abit.. While she is waiting for a placement the spay could of been done and you never know it may make a big difference.
We often advice people who are on our list (and will help with costs) to get the cats done in advance so that they can come into our care already done...
As i wrote before as a rescue forum i just dislike the idea of cats being posted as not neutered (unless not old enough of course) because thats what half of rescue is about...

I would agree 100%, also as we all know it is not wise to allow her to keep coming into season as the risk of getting cancer later in life increases with each season.

Goodness me, I didn't know that. Thanks Ela, that'll give me more ammo the next time I need to convince someone.

This tells you it all, CS. ;)

An entire white cat on free ads is going to attract unsavoury types who will think white mum = white kittens = more £££s :(
Mummyjem if you are reading please get her done before rehoming

Too late, MM. Duchess has gone to another home.
Moving to the correct section.
