Just a couple of pics of Freya and Gobi sleeping on the sofa next to me. I think Freya thinks that Gobi is a lot comfier than me since she left my lap to sleep on him. Traitor >:(

Awwwww :Luv2:
-
They are beautiful, what sort of cats are they?
-
Thank you both :) They are oriental shorthairs
-
:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: Oh. My. Word. :Luv: :Luv:
-
beautiful, is she a dilute torti - my favourite flavour!!
-
Yes, apparently she's a caramel tortie (good spot) and Gobi is apricot :)
-
:Luv:
-
Stunningly beautiful cats. :Luv2:
-
Thank you :) Ridiculously noisy but I wouldn't change then for the world.
-
I bet you wouldn't!! :wow:
-
They are both beautiful, Trouble's mother was part abyssinian and she inherited the oriental yowl, god awful noise, but I still miss it even now, although at the time I would never have imagined that I would

It's amazing how soothing to the ears a non oriental cats meaow can sound these days :)

Tell me, even an NFC yeouw almost constantly following you around the house whilst trying to do stuff is no-where near as penetrating :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Sounds like heaven :evillaugh:
When I go on holiday, everything seems too quiet. I think I've adjusted to the howling. We even said, if we had other cats, they'd be orientals so we're obviously gluttons for punishment (or we just love them very much).
-
I'd opt for the latter if I were you
-
Agreed :evillaugh:

:evillaugh: Moray is pathetically quiet, even though he has massive NFC traits, and when he does meow, it's always almost an apology.
The Gurlies were very vocal up until about 6 weeks ago when they got the key to the cat flap and began going out on their own. Now, they don't vocalize nearly half so much. Barley will still give little trills of pleasure when you give her a good back rub, and Malt still chirrups softly if Moray or Barley come in from outside, but it's a lot quieter than it was in our house. I miss Barley's battle cries as she flew up and down the stairs in an excess of energy! :evillaugh:

Alf has a very quiet voice for such a big lad and he doesn't use it much. I have heard Sky cry just a couple of times since we had her, it is a funny little squeak :Luv2:

Were these cats from the same litter? If not, they seem very close.
-
Yes, they are brother and sister.
