Well Tom arrived Friday , i picked him up from Burton Joyce cat rescue in Nottingham and after a hot traffic jam sort of journey back , hes settling in really well , hes a super purry chap with the gentlest personality i can ever remember seeing in a cat.
Ive been headbutted and paddled into submission and he even sat on my lap the 1st night here (Hendrix i hope your taking notes :evillaugh:) ,
Hendrix reacted quite badly with a lot of hissing and growling friday evening and most of saturday , really worried me but by this morning Toms total pacifist nature seems to have won the day and theres even been sightings of mutual bottom sniffing .
Hes off to the vets tommorow for vaccinations and to sort out an ear problem which is irritating him quite badly , hopefully its just earmites , will sort the obligatory piccies out by the end of the week , some of them may actually have 2 cats in the same picture

Have been looking for an fiv companion for Hendrix over the last couple of weeks , after having the feral and her kittens
here and seeing how well my boy reacted to feline friends it  was only a matter of time before the decision was made to find him
 a permanent companion.
So introducing Tom , http://www.catchat.org/bjcw/cgibin/prview.cgi?id=2009032502, ill hopefully be picking him up next weekend ,
as you can see by the link i found him through Catchat , will be keeping his name with a small change hell be Major Tom as a  tribute to Catchat
and my favourite of their regiment the late but great Colonel Beau.
