Poor Pearl. It sounds like the best thing that could have happened in the long run. In the end, she will be in a home where she is loved and wanted. It really chokes me up. Having the same mouth problem as pearl at the moment (finished antibiotics today and root out next week along with bridge!) she must be in a lot of pain - it's awful and I'm sure her owners wouldn't have bothered sorting her out. Auntie Teresa will take good care  :Luv:

Poor Pearl. All that horrible upheaval and rejection - and toothache as well. I've had an abcess under a tooth and it is extremely painful.

Thank goodness she's safe at Paws Inn and will be looked after now.

Meet Pearl
« Reply #1 on: April 08, 2007, 19:24:45 PM »
This old girl is the dearest sweetest little cat you could wish to meet, she`s not got a lot of teeth left and has one or two problems that the vet will hopefully help us to put right. She`s no trouble uses her litter tray fine and all she asks is for a few cuddles and kind words.
Poor Pearl just doesn`t understand why her life was turned upside down, what she did that was so bad to cause her humans to move house and leave her to fend for herself: and furthermore I will never understand why when her owners were traced by the landlord they had the cheek to say They just didnt want her.
I am certain this little one has had a lucky escape
