Hi all. I emailed this to all Kent CP rescues earlier today and no one got back to me!! Hard to believe but i did track down an oldie that was blind from HQ CP. However.. considering i got such a poor respone i am emailing here. A few things though.. the lady is unable to travel miles and miles.. So we are really look SE based pls.. and she really wants a worthy cause.. I have just copied and pasted the email send to Cp branches.. We can do homechecks and as i said below she is up for taking two and hopefully will see our Smudge in our care asap..
have had a call from a lady who has just lost her 16yr old cat. She is a teacher so works longish hours, just an adult home, no other animals and lives very rurally. Catflap, garden etc..The cat she has just lost had major health issues and she is looking for a puss cat that has been in rescue for a long time with difficultly rehoming. Anything that is blind, deaf or disabled in some way she can cope with, finances are not an issue and she is keen to take on an oldie.. We do have Smudge and she is seeing Smudge asap, but she may be up for taking 2 cats... So a cat that can live with another would be a benefit or even 2... She is being HC by one of our fosterers, but i know the area well..
So we are looking for a long stay puss cat that has some issue or another or keeps being overlooked, used to other cats, okay being on its own during the day... Does anyone have any potential candidates..? Willling to travel within reason in Kent area. She lives very rurally, no major roads around.. Whitstable,Dargate area.
Pls email or give me a call if anyone has any suitable candidates. People like this are music to my ears and i would hope we can find a old timer!

How about this one who is really lovely
http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/topic,22540.0.html
I have seen him but he must be the only cat and I would be prepared to bring him as far as Bristol.
He has been in a cage at my vets on the Gower since before Christmas because his owner died.
I have been told that he doesnt have any issues except other animals by the receptionist but I am not quite sure if that is the case cos when my vet told me about him I felt that he had.
Will PM you this link.

This lady is taking our lovely Smudge who has issues related to teeth.. And maybe a puss cat Spatz at the NCC, she has a heart condition...But i think she is seeing a very poorly puss from another rescue that has a few interbreeding issues.. and been in rescue since a very young age, now 5!!!! Whatever lots of worthy puss cats out their but our Smudge looks as though she should get her bags packed.
