MARVELLOUS BUT WHAT IS SHE LAID IN/ON?
MARY
-
We have two cat beds on top of wardrobe in bedroom. This is her preferred sleeping spot. She is the sweetest creature that ever walked the earth Mary. Truly every inch the sweetest natured gal.
She does however join me most early mornings around 4am before OH provides breakfast around 5am and can be the teeniest bit pushy then as she luves her grub :naughty: :Luv2:
-
I'm not sure who this is but found him/her on my phone. I know who it looks like but think maybe it might he a doppelganger.
Only one purrson can confirm one way or the other ..... and that is the real mom :innocent:
-
Whatz up with the better half of the Dynamic Duo Carol? :care: :care: :care:
He has a sore on his right flank that gets to the stage where it's almost healed up and then suddenly goes raw looking again. Vet's verdict is self harm, hence the collar. :-:
Bunty has taken issue with you calling Biggles the better half so now I have two disgruntled cats. :shify:
-
I AM CONFUSED ROSELLA, WAS THERE A PIC COS I DIDNT SEE ONE

Rosella - before you forget - how did you manage to post that piccie using your phone? I'd love to be able to do that, cos most of my imaginary cat photos reside on me phone.
I'll have to get back to you Sue as it involves resizing in Studio first and gotta go to get hair cut :)
-
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM CANT YOU DOWN LOAD THE PICS FROM PHONE TO LAPPY OR PC?
CONNECT ONE TO THE OTHER?
OR IF ON A CARD IN PHONE TAKE OUT CARD AND PUT INTO LAPPY AND DOWNLOAD FROM THERE?

However, I do have a weakness for black and whites so I'm loving Butter (I don't think he looks grumpy at all!).

MARY
-
It's easy as pie to share pics direct from phone Gill. The issue, as always, is more to do with having to resize first for Purrs and I'm just not sure whether Sue's model of phone has the ability to resize or whether she would need to download an app :shify:
-
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH RIGHT ROSELLA.............I HAVE GIVEN HER AN APP LINK MANY TIMES WHICH IS GREAT AND EASY......SIGH
WISH HER EMAIL WOULD ARRIVE!
-
SUE EMAIL HAS NOW ARRIVED SO I HAVE THE PLEASURE OF INTRODUCING THE NON-EXISTAND CATS FORMALLY :shify: :shify: :shify:

-
:evillaugh: :evillaugh:
Barley is in the bottom piccie and is the dark tabby. Malt is the one with the air of injured innocence in the middle of the pics. :Luv: (Allegedly)
Moray is currently patiently rifling through the cat toy box.
-
Malt and Barley are lovely :Luv: and Moray is gorgeous even if he does look grumpy :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
The non existent Gurlies have grown into such beautiful cats, not a velociraptor in sight :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
The Mognificent non existent Moray is wonderful in his Grumpiness :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
Thank you ladies. :shy:
-
You are very welcome, your imaginary cats, that, of course, we can only see because we imagine them, are fantastic. I'm starting to confuse myself now. I am easily confused.   **mutter, mutter, now where are those nice men in the white coats?**

MARY
-
Pippin has to come to the loo with me, and demands that the tap is turned on to a fast drip so that she can drink and play with it. I have never had such a water obsessed cat, when it is raining hard she goes out, comes in soaking wet, goes out to get wet again, comes back in to get dried off and warm her wet paws on my leg, goes out, gets wet again ad nauseum.
-
NO WONDER LUPIN DOESNT LIKE HER LOL
LUPIN COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DRINK OUT OF THE TAP WITHOUT GETTING WET SO GAVE UP
PIPPIN SHOULD LOVE THE WATER FOUNTAIN THEN ;D ;D
-
Butter's sort of got the hang of doing that but ends up with water going in his nose ......snot bubbles (luvvurly) :-[

ALTHOUGH HE WAS LOOKING STRAIGHT AT CAMERA SO NO RED EYE HIS EYES JUST WOULDNT COME OUT NORMALLY
-
PIPPA IS SO FUNNY, MY SMUDGE R.I.P. USED TO HAVE ME DOING THAT WHILE I SAT ON THE LOO
MISA SO GLAD TO BE HOME AND HE'S SORTING YOUR WIRES OUT FOR YOUR LAPPY TOO GILL ;) ;) ;)

Quality is fine, oh Butter, I bet that hurt, he isn't exactly a teeny kitten swarming up.
-
Yes, the quality is fine. The eyes are in focus, nothing else needs to be. And the composition is great too!
-
All looks in focus to me, I don't think I want to be the focus of that determination swarming up my leg though!
-
Actually he didn't have his claws stuck in me (fortunately) does look like it though doesn't it!
He was just having a quick stretch ;) cheeky lil bu gg er :evillaugh:

:Luv: :Luv: :Luv: Butter.

Loads of lovely pics on here :Luv: here's my favorite of Robbie, funnily enough 98% of his pics are him snoozing :tired:
as you can see by his ear's Robert is not one to shy away from a scrap, he never starts them - He is very tolerant of other
cat's in the garden etc...but if the other cat starts to act tuff Robbie will put up with only so much...
Best laugh I had with him was when My brother in law visited last xmas, he had to take his dog and warned me that he
absolutely hated Cats :O Dog saw Robbie in the garden and charged - - - Robbie just stood his ground, after that, every
time the BIL took the dog out for the toilet - he was closely followed by Mr Robert, poor dog was witted :evillaugh:

-
He's gorgeous :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
Thank you Sonya, just wished he was more a homely cat, he was a stray that we adopted and he has never really
been one for home comforts, he has the run of the house bedrooms n all, but we usually find him sleeping on the
rubber mat on the tiled floor in the kitchen
-
You obviously haven't bankrupted yourself on enough cat beds Stuart. ( For him to ignore   ) He is a lovely looking cat. :Luv2:
-
Well he obviously likes kipping there :evillaugh:. Does Robbie like cuddles, Butter doesn't, he hates being picked up >:( although he is still very affectionate though :Luv:
-
Neither of mine like being picked up. I think Alf is too heavy to find it comfortable (as well as being beneath his dignity!) and Sky is still far too skittish. They are both up for fuss on their own terms - usually when I am in bed.
-
Hah, every bed I have bought has been ignored, I still have two bed's left, last time I tried to donate them to the CPL they refused saying " they still hadn't used my other ones I donated " :evillaugh:
Robbie does not like getting picked up, hell shall freeze over the day he comes in and jumps on a lap
-
he does look like a proper boy cat stuart :Luv2:

S'Funny you say that Gill, Misty was the same, never really craved after cuddles :(
it was only after Hamish passed that he became more affectionate

Wonderful photo of a beautiful cat.

Oh what a beauty!! :Luv: :Luv:

Lily was out all morning as usual, but I like to shut her in as soon as I can in the afternoon, otherwise she'll try to stay out all night. This was about half an hour ago, and she doesn't look impressed!
...and this was about the same time yesterday, in low light. Not a great photo, but better for being taken with the new camera.

Another sunny day, so a few more photos. Not as many as I expected, as all three kept disappearing for long stretches at a time. I panicked a bit when I couldn't see Clio, as she'd gone missing for nearly four months, but I looked out of an upstairs window and spotted her on top of a neighbour's shed.

Pippa found the last patch of sun, on top of my pot of Alpine Strawberries, the clue is the leaf by her tail. :naughty:
And you can see how bothered she was by me telling her to get off, typical ruddy teenager.

Loving all these photos ;D ;D ;D

At least the pot Clio was sleeping in only had a few weeds in, though she wouldn't have been deterred by cultivated plants!

Quite a bit cooler today, and even Lily, who is normally reluctant to come indoors, came in and settled down early in the afternoon.
Clio was a surprise though. She kept crying to be let out again. I did let her out for a while, then it started raining, not hard at first, so she still wouldn't come in, and I had to fetch her. She still wasn't happy, as you can see!

:evillaugh: Bless her paws. :Luv:
Butter's photie is great. :naughty:
-
Another fairly miserable day, and more or less a repeat of yesterday, except for Bramble spending most of the day in the bed by the door and Clio, who isn't at all keen on other cats, and after a bit of crying, actually choosing to join her. These photos are 10 to 15 minutes apart.

My lovely little? Pirate being soppy, just before he got enthusiastic and drew blood - again!
I do apologise for the first one, left handed photo's are not my strong point.
Just looked and it is alright.
My Pi may be lacking in the ear, eye and tail , and possibly brain departments, but I love this little cat sooooh much, he is such a treasure. Even if he did attack my toes this morning, serves me right for not wearing my slippers,so hard that he made my toes bleed too.   NORTY kittty. :Luv:
-
Butter wouldn't melt!
-
Clio looks disgusted here, but really she'd just woken up when she heard the camera being switched on. She was quite happily asleep almost entirely underneath Bramble!

Bramble was just keeping Clio warm Dave.

Bramble was keeping Clio warm again today. Actually, because Clio didn't move, even when I took the photo, I got a bit worried and had to check she was still alive, but she was just asleep!
I took another photo 5 minutes later and she'd moved a bit, but still seemed comfortable.

I had a windows phone. There is a built in resizing app. When you open a pic you can choose to edit it.
Choose edit then resize to less than 350 know then you will be able to post it

My phone has the Android operating system. Don't get me started on Android. :mad2:

Bright sunshine again, and it's warm too, so I anticipated Lily not coming in until late, but she came in at 4.30, no trouble at all. Instead, it's Clio who insists on staying out!
She's currently on top of next door's shed, where I can't reach her, but I expect she'll come down when it gets cooler. Meanwhile, here's a few shots of her enjoying the sun earlier, before she headed for higher "ground."

Loving catching up on all the new photos. :wow: :wow:
It always leaves me with a lurching stomach when I see cats on rooves.

Clio was definitely enjoying the sun, Dave. :Luv:
How soon did your heart return from your mouth, Sonya? Norty Butter. :Luv2:
-
It used to frighten the Life out of me because the old fence that he used was only 4ft tall at the time, then it was stepladders out and grab him by the scruff of the neck - for some reason he didn't like that! :evillaugh: he did a few times and then gave up, til we changed the fence to a 6ft one. I still nervous for the first few times but after that it didn't bother me - well, till he see's a bird on the gable end, then I'm worried he's gunna run at it and go flying off the end :hairrasin: :hairrasin:
-
I ended up going next door with some steps to fetch Clio down from the roof yesterday evening. I'm not sure if she was unable to get down by herself, or if she was reluctant as it was still warm, but it was getting late and I didn't want to risk climbing a stepladder in the dark.
-
Our outbuildings have flat roofs and are very close to a 6' fence, then a 4' fence and the roof of The Cathouse. So easy for them to scrabble up and down there. The garage they have the filtration box for the pond to use as a ladder.

Getting up there isn't a problem for Clio, getting down might be, as she's very old. It's possible I'm panicking too soon though. She's up there again today, so I might give her a bit longer. I thought she looked a bit wobbly on her feet yesterday as she walked around the roof, but it's corrugated so that might be all it was.
-
It seems that I was worrying over nothing after all! The weather has turned cool and quite windy, and Clio has just walked in, crying for some of the chicken I was trying to bribe her down with!
-
Good girl Clio!

Is it metal? Cat On A Hot Tin Roof by Gilbert O'Sullivan just sprung to mind, I'll be singing that all night.
-
Butter was wobbly on his feet the first few times, but he thinks he's Mr Cool now 8) - *rolls eyes* - his way to get up is to jump on the patio table then onto the Wheely bin (now used as a waterbutt) then onto the fence and finally the roof.
-
Clio this afternoon, expecting me to throw her some chicken, so not making a move to come down.

Once they've settled, it's difficult to imagine a time when they weren't around. Whenever someone asks how old Lily is, I have to look at her thread here to see when I first posted about her!
-
First pic: Checking out the new fence and gate - oh! and christening it as well :evillaugh: Well you got to haven't you! :innocent:
Second pic: Can't believe i actually got a decent pic of Butter where he doesn't actually look grumpy :evillaugh:
-
Since she went missing for just over a day a little while ago, Bramble has been keeping her distance from the other two cats. Today, Lily had a visit to the vet (as I suspected, it was a flea allergy, like Clio had but not as bad). Shortly after we got home, I found Bramble and Lily together. I just hope it lasts.
-
That is a beautiful photo Dave. Long may it continue
-
That really is lovely, Dave. ;D
-
I half expected Bramble to revert to "grumpy cat mode" today, but she's still happy to spend time with Lily.

Unlike the poor squashed strawberries!
It did occur to me the difference between those who purely love cats or dogs. I hear next door trying to control, "Get off there!" etc. us cat slaves just go and get the camera. :evillaugh:
-
:evillaugh: :evillaugh: Yeah and stand there telling Pippin that, that particular shade of red really suits her ;)

Aww! she was adorable :Luv2: well! she still is of course ;) :Luv2:

Aw, what a pretty little girl :Luv2:

Bramble and Lily back on top of the freezer. Given it was quite a warm day, if a little dull, and the freezer gives off heat, I can't imagine why they keep going back there.

I love it when cats let their tongues poke out, it looks so sweet. They are definitely becoming BFF's :Luv:

Lily sleeping on top of the PC tower isn't a problem, I can still use the computer.
Bramble sleeping on top of the printer/scanner isn't too much of a problem, I don't use it all that often.
The pair of them sleeping on top of the freezer IS a problem, especially as they most often do so just when I need to get some food out of it!

Lily disappeared completely yesterday from about 9.00 am, and didn't show up until after 11.00 pm. She's stayed out later, but I usually know that she's nearby, and my neighbours hadn't seen her either. I was considering keeping her indoors today, just to let her know where she belongs, as she seemed quite nervous for a little while after returning, but I needn't have worried. It's been pouring with rain, so none of the cats have felt much like wandering!
She has been looking outside wistfully, but she does that whenever it rains, even if the door is open!

...and she's completely settled down now!

They do actually get some of any meat that comes out of the freezer, but it takes so long to thaw they don't see the connection!
-
They were back on the freezer again today, but only when I needed something from it! Before that, they were happy to sit together in the window:

Lovely photo's Dave, so nice to see them washing and cuddling. :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
-
It's Lily who washes Bramble, never the other way round. Although she's much smaller, it's clear who's in charge!
-
Beautiful pics :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
I know what you mean Dave, when I had Sammy and Barney, he was about twice her size when I got him. It was so funny, she used to plonk her paw on his head, pinning it to the floor and then would to proceed to do 'forcible washes'. So sweet. :Luv2:
-
Treat time, Emo isn't that fussed about them, I think she was looking to see where Merlin was.
-
A few more from this morning. Lily, in particular, is acting a bit oddly. It's usually her that stays out as late as she can, but lately she's been coming in early, and I don't even have to bribe her! Must be the weather. That, or she's plotting something!

Great photos! :Luv2:

LILY AND BRAMBLE ARE SO CLOSE AND VERY GOOD LOOKING, LOVE THE PICS AND ALSO TREAT TIME FROM PAULA ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
The trick to getting a decent photo of Butter is to make sure he isn't looking :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
Love this one :Luv: :Luv:
-
BUTTER IS GORGEOUS AND LOVE ALL BUT ESPECIALLY THE MIDDLE ONE WITH HIM SITTING THERE WITH HIS WHITE PAWS ALL TOGETHER ;D ;D
-
It's quite heartening to see Lily and Bramble cuddling up together, as so often females who come into the home at different times do not get along, or at least not to that extent
you are lucky Dave
-
I know. ;D I'm also lucky that Clio, who keeps herself very much to herself, isn't bothered too much by the boisterous Lily, who sometimes starts to give chase, but quickly takes the hint when Clio growls at her.
The house is much more peaceful than I would have expected!
-
:wow: :wow: :wow:
-
Clio showing Lily who's boss, though Lily will pretend otherwise!
Clio nicked Lily's favourite spot on top of my PC, and Lily keeps trying to stare Clio into moving, to no avail.

That sounds rather like our (late) Cleo who came into the house, took her coat off (metaphorically) and took charge! ;D
-
Another of Lily's favourite spots, taken over by Clio, on top of the bread bin. Lily likes to sit there to keep an eye on any food that she might snaffle, but Clio didn't seem interested. She seemed to be just making a point!

Not content with stealing the other cats' (mainly Lily's) favourite spots, Clio is now stealing my chair. As soon as I sit down, she jumps on me, but if I get up, she takes over the chair, and is very reluctant to give it up again!

Today the cats were kept in, apart from Lily who, as you can see has a problem with her eye, and had a trip to the vet. Nothing too serious, probably conjunctivitis, and the vet gave me some ointment for it, which should be fun to apply! She doesn't squint all the time, and I would have taken another photo, but I didn't want to risk the flash going off again.

Poor LIly, Bob's eye does that from time to time and I bathe it with a warm saline solution and that seems to sort it out, nice pics of Clio and Bramble looking cute with her tongue out. :Luv2:
-
Poor Lily. Lovely pics
-
Don't think ive put this pic on before - well, i hope not
-
Not sure, but it doesn't matter, we like looking at Butter. :Luv: :Luv:
Bob hiding from the sun.
-
Much better! I'll continue with the medication, just to make sure it stays better, but that's not the problem I expected it to be, Lily has been as good as gold, though once the ointment is in her eye, she runs off to hide in a corner for a few minutes.

Lovely photo Dave. ;D

Thanks Paula, can't get on Purrs with My laptop properly, not been able to for a while :( having to use my tablet at the mo
-
Poor Lily, bless her paws. Am glad she's letting you put the ointment in her eye.
-
I'm not getting many photos of Bramble lately, as she keeps disappearing for hours. In fact, she was gone from Friday morning until the early hours of Sunday morning. She's out now, I've no idea where. I'll be glad when the thunderstorms arrive, it'll persuade all the cats to come in!
This one is from yesterday evening, when she took a leaf out of Lily's book, and stole her spot!
Lily is starting to get a little annoyed when I put the ointment in her eye, but she quickly forgives me, and comes and sits near me, even when I don't have any food!

Lily's now commandeered my kitchen worktops! There's no point in trying to stop her, I'll just have to clean the surfaces asI use them.
-
I expect the work-top is a cool spot.
-
Yes, it is, I hadn't thought of that. The kitchen is generally the hottest part of the house.
Bramble has come in at a nearly sensible time at last. She didn't come in at all last night, and almost came in a few hours ago, but saw me and ran away. I'm pretty sure I haven't trod on her, or hurt her in any way, but she's been skittish for a while now, I reckon it's the heatwave.
-
A couple of Bramble shortly after coming home from the vet. I kept her in today, so I could see if there was something obviously wrong, but there wasn't, though she was very vocal, and her mouth stayed open longer than normal, so I took her along to the vet to get her checked out. She's had the all clear, so it's probably just the heatwave unsettling her.
-
Am glad she got the all clear Dave. This heat does seem to alter their routine.
-
Getting back to normal today, with the cooler weather, though she's still a bit twitchy. She's near enough her old self to pick up bad habits from Lily! When I spotted them both up there, it was actually worse. Bramble was sprawled across the stove next to Lily, but moved when she saw me!

...and a bit later, Bramble being washed by Lily. Bramble has been keeping her distance from the other cats as well as from me, so this is a good sign.

My poor Pip Pip after she was towel dried after her shower. Her white bits were white again. Thank Gawd she doesn't hold grudges. ;)

Thankfully I've never had a cat get so filthy, but I reckon it's just a matter of time, especially with Lily the Minx!

Bramble and Lily back on the kitchen worktop. Bramble, at least, has the good grace to look a bit guilty!

Bramble, after being AWOL for 2 days (and nights), cried to come in and strolled in for long enough to shut the door. She then cried for ages to go out again (no chance!) and kept running away from me whenever I got close. Then Lily got involved, and calmed her down. After Lily went off to sleep somewhere else, Bramble stayed where she was and let me stroke her, so I think I'm making some progress.

I was just about to turn in for the night, when I saw this. Before she went walkabout for 2 days and nights, Bramble would jump down as soon as she heard me walking to the kitchen, but this time she stayed put. I know I should try to dissuade them from jumping onto the worktops, let alone sleeping on them, but I'm so pleased that Bramble is getting less nervous of my approach, I haven't the heart to shift them!
-
Well, the way I see it is that I normally use chopping boards for food preparation, and bleach or Dettol spray cleaner are great for wiping down the benches especially as the latter doesn't leave any harmful residue. With Bramble needing careful handling right now, I'd just take advantage of the fact you can approach her when she's up there, and she feels less threatened.
Thankfully, we can put the lid down on our hob after cooking, because I know Moray has a habit of walking over it if he thinks there's something interesting going on further along the bench top.
-
Luckily, as you can probably see under the microwave, I've accumulated quite a few chopping boards!
-
Just an old photo to test another image hosting site now that Photobucket is holding my photos there to ransom. ( imagehosting.biz)
-
I just save my images to the laptop, then resize through paint, save to a resize folder and post them through there, resized to 17 for anything under 5MB and reducing from there. Thanks Andrew. ;D
-
I got into the habit of using a hosting site, then linking to the photo, years ago. It save forum bandwidth, but that's not much use if the hosting site holds your photos for ransom. I don't know what Photobucket are playing at, they've wrecked a lot of websites and forums, and made a lot of people angry. They did it without any notice too.
Anyway, here's another test, Flickr this time.

Managed to catch Butter off guard  :evillaugh:

Lovely photo Sonya, his eyes look beautiful. :Luv:
I can't get over how similar Pippin and Lily are.
-
Yeah they are similar aren't they!!. I'm really impressed with my new camera, the colours are true compared to the old one ;D
-
:Luv: Such lovely piccies. great to see Bramble looking less stressed, Dave.

Kito giving me that superior, judgemental look that cats are so good at.

He really is growing into a handsome boy Susanne. :Luv2:

Such beautiful puds :Luv: :Luv:
Here's a recent pic of Elsa trying to look all growed up at 6 months
-
Can't leave out her adorable Bro Popeye
-
They are both looking very growed up. :Luv: I love Elsa's tail. She has draped it so artistically. ;D
-
They're both little stunners. I know Groucho wouldn't agree, but I can see definite similarities between him and his little bruvver, both being so shadow smitten and beautiful. And Elsa's tail is indeed a sight to behold. I don't recall it being so floofy when she was very little. :Luv2: :Luv2:

Ooh what growed up kitties Elsa and Popeye are :Luv:

Can't leave out her adorable Bro Popeye

WELL ROSELLA, WHAT DO YOU THINK MY THOUGHTS ARE ON POPEYE? ;) ;) BLOOMING GORGEOUS OF COURSE  :Luv2: HOW COME HIS SIS ISN'T CALLED OLIVE? :naughty:
THAT TAIL IS TO DIE FOR, LOTS OF HEADS WILL BE TURNING :Luv2: :Luv2:
SUSANNE - KITO IS GREAT AT GIVING YOU THAT LOOK ;)
MARY
-
Stripey Stanley seems to get more stripey with each pic Mary :blow kiss: :blow kiss:
Poor Popeye was sadly mistaken for a girl when he was a wee baby :Dont know: Tiz trew, shocking as it is and was initially named Poppy. Can you imagine the embarrassment? We don't talk about it now :innocent: but, due to his poorly eye that became ulcerated (Sheila's fabulous band soon healed that bad eye), he took on the name of Popeye. Elsa endured the named Ella until she took up residence here and told me she wanted to be known as Elsa if that would be OK. I said it would.
They follow me everywhere and wait outside any closed doors until I appear. I love em ;D ;D ;D
-
A pic of Popeye taken yesterday. Shows up the incredible improvement in his initially poorly right, I mean left :shy: eye.
At one point things were looking not so good for that eye. Amazing what dedicated nursing can do :) :) :)
-
What's not to love about Popeye and Ella....? :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv:
And Stanley - gorgeous Stanley. :Luv: That's a full looking tum there, and no mistake. :evillaugh: He must be thanking his lucky stars your paths crossed, Mary, and that he ended up with his perfect Mommy. :wow:
-
they are lovely rosella, and what a tail she has developed!
couldn't agree more about Stanley sue, some times its just meant to be
-
:thanks: GUYS, I'LL PASS ON YOUR COMMENTS TO SIR STANLEY ;) I SMILE EVERY TIME I LOOK AT HIM ;D
POPEYE IS A VERY APPROPRIATE NAME NOW I KNOW THE STORY AND WE DON'T NEED AN OLIVE ;)
BASIL BRUSH HAS NOTHING ON ELSA  :Luv2:
THEY BOTH LOVE YOU AND THEIR NEW HOME, BLESS 'EM
I'M TRYING NOT TO FEED STANLEY AS MUCH BUT WHEN DREAMIES ARE ON OFFER AT TESCO - 2 FOR £2 ;)

At least it's paws not claws. :evillaugh: Ooh, I can see a t-shirt logo coming on. Paws not claws at the next NATO summit maybe?

Clio and Bramble taking turns in one of their favourite spots. Amazingly, though Clio doesn't much like other cats and would rather they kept their distance, there was no squabbling, not even a hiss or a growl!

Clio with Bramble. Usually, when these two are together, it's Bramble who approaches Clio, but this time it was Clio, who isn't that keen on other cats, who chose to sit with Bramble.

Obviously Clio couldn't wait for Bramble to vacate one of her favourite spots. 'Sharing is caring' as the rather sickly saying goes.
-
This makes me smile so much Dave. You must be so made up to have all three of them back in together. :) :)
-
I am Sue, but sooner or later I'm going to have to let Bramble out again.
Still, that's a worry for another day.
-
Don't think I'll ever get a pic of Butter looking a little less grumpy :evillaugh:
-
More of Mr Grumpy
-
Beautiful glossy coat going on there, Sonya. :)
-
He's very handsome, Sonya. :Luv: I don't think he looks grumpy.

I forgot to post this, Clio tolerating Bramble, a couple of days ago. They were both asleep until they heard me approaching.

Pirate on the shower mat at the top of the stairs that the cats love.
Emo on the shower mat in the bathroom, I wish the HA would get their finger out and replace the bathroom flooring, it's ages since the leak was repaired. Something else to chase this week before I start work again.

Beautiful pics :Luv2: :Luv2: I wouldn't say scratching post, more like head rubbing post ;) :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
No, those claws definitely dug in!
To be fair, it was more akin to padding than scratching but she stretched out as she does when using a post.
-
Yeah but she only dug her claws in to bring you closer ;) :evillaugh:
-
Welcome to Purrs Catlover and Baby. :wow: Lovely looking cat. :Luv2:

There's nothing much on the telly. Even Lily can't stay awake.

MERLIN A GREAT LOOKING CAT ;D ;D
YAWWWWWWWWWWWWWN........YES ON THE BED AND GETTING IN!!
-
Pippin has been hoping the Cat TV has become interactive.
-
Oh Pippin!
I wish I'd had a camera handy yesterday when Kito tried to scale the fridge freezer. It's not particularly tall (4'6") but he got stock about 3/4 way up and just stuck to it clinging on for dear life (not sure what he was clinging to tbh, probably the few fridge magnets that he hasn't broken) until he realised there was no choice for it but to let himself drop to the floor and hope I hadn't noticed.
Instead here he is being a sleepy head (and finally proving that he can fit in his bed!)
-
Not got a lot of time to post of late, but loving reading and the piccies on here are great. Butter's little fang, just peeping out. Adorable! :Luv2:

Bob pulled the polar bear and fleece from the armchair, she was so comfy that she watched me dole out the Crispies to Pi and Emo with slitted eyes and for the first time ever decided she was far too comfy to move. NOT even for Felix Crispies.

Love this pic of Bob, it's the way her nose, mouth and Whisker's stand out :Luv2: :Luv2:

Quite a sunny afternoon today and all three cats were nearby, so I went to get my camera. Got a couple each of Clio and Bramble, but Lily was suddenly camera shy, either that or she saw something blowing in the wind that required chasing!

love everyone's latest pics, especially bb, it's like looking at a colour chart for paint, just how many colours are on his gorgeous body?
mary
-
Um, Bob is a girl Mary. She is almost every shade of ginger going from her pale apricot belly to the dark red stripes. She is pretty though. :Luv:
-
:-[ :-[ NOW WHY WOULD I THINK A CAT CALLED BOB WAS A BOY? ;)
I LOVE THE APRICOT DESCRIPTION :Luv2:
MARY
-
It's from Blackadder Mary, her secret name is Kate.
-
Bramble and Lily curled up together. Almost back to normal, but Bramble's still under house arrest .:)
(https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4518/38141470364_34ea7e1dcd_k.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/217r1j1)
-
And so she should be, norty Bramble. ;)
-
Shortly after I took that photo, I put a collar on Bramble, matching Lily's, with "I am microchipped" on it. She'll have a few weeks to get used to it and, when she does go out, it might deter people from feeding her. I'm not certain by any means, but I did wonder how she coped so well all the time she was away. She did eat most of the food I left out for her, but I've occasionally seen other cats eating it, and she hasn't lost an ounce.
-
Not a great photo, but it was nice to see them all together for once!

two are thinking 'I'm glad I'm in here where it's warm' and the third is thinking 'I want to be out there'
-
Bob just had to investigate the box my new shrub came in last night.
I just noticed the state of the carpet, looking to make sure the pic had loaded, I only vacuumed it in the morning, sometimes I wonder why I bother.
-
My god!! look at the state of that carpet 🙄 honestly Paula you should Hoover up more often :evillaugh: :evillaugh: ;) I love your new plant is it a fur tree
-
All together again - well, almost!

;D ;D ;D
-
A bit closer. Clio's still keeping a bit of distance, though she keeps going back, even when the other two are already there, so perhaps she's mellowing!
(https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4643/25627542288_487225c4c5_h.jpg) (https://flic.kr/p/F3BRto)

mine don't even do same room so same sofa is fantastic!
-
Aw Dave - what a smashing photo. You must be well chuffed! ;D
-
Cautiously chuffed! I'll probably let Bramble out in just over a week's time. Hopefully she will no longer refuse to come in!
-
I still can't quite believe how settled she is, after she stayed out so long.

-
Bramble obviously likes her Lily pillow. :Luv: Hopefully that will be enough to keep her at home. Cleo may come round enough to 'bundle' before you let Bramble out again.
-
She does, most of the time they curl up together, though Lily occasionally gets tired of having to play mum and wanders off to be on her own!
-
What do you mean my bum looks big in this? I fit perfectly.
-
Awwww
-
Bath time for Bramble!

I hope you've told her she'll miss all this care and attention if she goes AWOL again, Dave
-
Hopefully she'll work that out for herself! :)
-
Bob just loves the Cat TV. :)
-
LOVING THEM ALL BUT AS I HAVE A MASSIVE SOFT SPOT FOR THE NAUGHTY MOSI I HAVE TO SAY THAT IS A BRILL PIC SUSANNE AND I BELIEVE I CAN SEE KITO'S PAWS AT THE BACK. MAYBE KITO WAS THINKING OF GETTING IN THERE TOO :evillaugh:  :Luv2:
ON THE 20TH STANLEY HAD BEEN WITH ME 1 YEAR AND I LOOKED BACK AT HIS FIRST PICS AND HERE IS ONE THAT I TOOK ON HIS 3RD DAY WITH ME.
MARY
-
Aww :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
I do believe you are right Mary, well spotted, I missed those first time around. :evillaugh:
-
None of the cats are doing much worth photographing at the moment, preferring to curl up and sleep though the cold weather outside. Clio is keeping to herself as usual, and photos of her just show a furry blob, so I'll leave her in peace. Bramble and Lily are out in the open though, and spending a lot of time together.

OK, they've done something worth photographing, but it was a bit tricky getting the photo!
This is a new one to me - stackable cats! Lily was asleep on my lap, as she often is, when Bramble decided to plonk herself right on top of her! It didn't seem to bother Lily either, as she stayed there without complaint for a good 15 minutes.

Glad to say that this one has started to go out again now, not as long as he used to but it's a start ;D

More stackable cats, though I don't think Clio has quite got the right idea!

what it is with you men? Andrew with his Hoolies joined at the hip, and Dave with his three tier stackable girls, and I have two cats who avoid getting within 2 feet of each other still after 7 years >:(
-
Bramble and Lily have settled down nicely after we lost Clio. Lily wasn't that bothered, since she hadn't known Clio that long, and Clio didn't want anything to do with her anyway, but Bramble missed her. She got close to Lily though, which helped a lot.
