"George" is booked in for his neuter next week. Hopefully the lady who said she would adopt him is still good for it but she hasn't returned my calls for the last two weeks. :scared:
If I don't manage to get hold of her this week, we'll be looking to home George. As he's got such a lovely cuddly nature, and a big fluffy tail, this should not present a problem. :Luv2:
-
George is jiust gorgeous and hope you are able to find him a home quick after his neuter
-
Hope everything goes well for George  I wonder if the lasy might be on holiday? Do you know exactly where she lives?
-
I know she's called Julie, the road she lives on and her phone number, but not her door number or surname.
Sadly all I can do is continue phoning her and leaving voicemails, but it appears she's dropped off the radar. I hope nothing awful has happened to her, because she did sound lovely and George had been living there.
Poor George was getting hungry so I (and the little boy at no.7 who named him) have started to feed him again. We've also removed his collar as it appears no-one around here owns him, I don't like leaving collars on when I'm not in control to monitor them :(
Vet asked if I'd like him chipped. My initial urge was to say "yes", but as we still haven't ruled out Julie, I'm leaving that decision for snip day.

Great news. I managed to get hold of the lady who is willing to take George on permanently. She's lost my number and because I'd removed his collar with my details she couldn't get in touch. Anyway, she's still happy to take him so the Snip is on for tomorrow.
Not only but also, George is here! He popped over to play with Tufty's valerian toys and I scooped him up. He was very panicky (panting) for an hour and was pretty vocal but has calmed down now and is sitting on the couch with me, being fasted until tomorrow morning. I can sense it will be a long night ahead for us both as whenever I leave the room he cries and cries, so I'm camping out down here with him so OH can get some shut eye.
If all goes well Georgie boy will be podded and back here for a few hours tomorrow night, then handed over to his forever home tomorrow night. ;D

Ah thats great she is going to have him. Lucky George 8) such a gorgeous boy :Luv:
-
Wonderful news, has he settled in ? ;D

George popped by yesterday to say "hello" and play with the new valerian toys (Thanks Tan ;D ). He looks absolutely wonderful so he new Meowmi is doing a great job. :cat rub:
Must admit, despite best efforts of nasty pokey nosey in neighbour to kybosh all this :P I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.

Delighted this has all worked so wonderfully Sheila :) :) :) You didn't send him home with a smelly Valerian Toy surely?   Poor new mummy :evillaugh:

No, but what a brilliant idea! I'll poke one through the door of no.56 tomorrow :naughty: :evillaugh:
Just need to extract it from Polly's loving embrace first :shify: :help:
