Can anyone help this little darling: Cross posted from CatChat http://www.catchat.org/discus/messages/18/97523.html?1216386617
This little girl needs our help - now we need yours...
This 10 week old kitten was found by one of our volunteers with both back legs broken and a fractured hip. She also had badly infected bite wounds with injuries estimated to be at least 3 days old and by then a severe infection had set in. We feared the worst but she is a fighter - the operation to repair her shattered legs has been a success and the infection is subsiding. She is still "in hospital" but doing very well. Her medical bills are going to be high, even with discount for the charity, but we have to be true to our principle of non-destruction unless advised otherwise. She is proof that our ethos is right. All suggestions for a name for this special little kitten are welcome by submitting the simple form via our website. If you would like to donate to help pay for her surgery please visit our donations page.

The Haws website is up and running again and there is a "click here" link on the front page to see an update on Zuri ... however I can't seem to find the update so I have sent HAWS an email to ask where it is.
Will keep you posted on what I find out.
Edited ... can't see the update but have found the video of Zuri playing ... she has obviously made a complete recovery and is simply adorable :Luv2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA7rje5JUAo

Hi Sam,
Thanks for your email. We are very pleased to tell you that Zuri has made a total recovery, her vets bill has been settled and even better news - she has now been rehomed with some wonderful people in a permanent home. Apologies that the link led you on a wild goose chase, I forgot to remove it from the homepage. Thank you so much for asking about her and for your support.
Kind Regards
