I was talking to someone earlier who breeds Siamese and Bengals, she was saying she has on occasion had a queen that's aborted a couple and then go on to give birth to healthy ones a week or so after.  I'm not sure if this will be the case with Abigail but if there's no more, as soon as her uterus is back to normal she can be spayed and hopefully find the loving home that she deserves.  I'll be taking her to the vets tomorrow to see if she can have an Ultrasound and then I'll know for sure.

RIP little ones, so sad. At least she is with you now, and will be spayed so she doesn't have to go through this again.
Please spay your cat

I'm wondering whether she was only carrying the two or if there's more in there that might still be okay  :-:  Poor little babe but she doesn't seem at all bothered, sometimes these things are just not meant to be and it's possible there was something wrong with them  :owwww:

Sadly the little one died in the early hours  :'(  :'(  Abigail seems fine in herself and doesn't seem in the least bit stressed.  She'll be going in the vets next week for a check up just to check there are no more babies.

 :RIP:  Little ones

Sorry to hear the news  :'( At least you gave the kitten the best possible chance it could have  Mother Nature is cruel at times.

Abigail gave birth to 2 kittens earlier but sadly the kittens are not fully developed  :'(  One has died and the other is just about holding on.  She is about 2 weeks prem but basically she has aborted them.  I'm not sure whether there's any more to come but she wasn't interested in them whatsoever.  They were both absolutely freezing and still had the placentas attached.  I spoke to Sean earlier and he said the chances of survival are very low, but it was worth trying to feed them.  As I said, one sadly died but the other seems to be pretty strong.  It took a while to warm them both up and they'd had a little to eat, I will have to feed every 2 hours and just basically keep my fingers crossed that this little one is going to make it.
