Is it just me or is there something terminally wrong about a family where both are working, but they don't seem to be able to have their animals neutered ...
Totally agree BC, but usually the excuse is as they both work they are both too busy.

Cripes. we both work in this house, but trust me any rescues are soon at the vets for a nice sleep, including any newbies of my own that are not neutered. I actually mark the earliest that they can be done on the calender.

is it just me who has a sense of deja vu about this? didn't a similar incident crop up recently, and again the outcome was that someone took all the cats?

something sounds a bit wrong here, but then I am an old cynic  :-[

Right - so if a place can be found they'll surrender the cats to a rescue? Could we try AARU?

Right i got it wrong, Cfer is actually 1 yr old and they are actually looking for a home for her, they tried to rehome her a few month ago and i was going to take her but cant remember what happened but i didnt get her, the lady concerned e-mailed me on sun asking if i was still willing to take Cfer as she was still looking for a home,, then when Dabs posted about this family  , me not realising it was the same person i sent an e-mail saying if she was struggling  i was sure we could find room at the rescue and also pointing out the dangers with rehoming to strangers, i recieved a reply telling me who she was and explained about the other cat Monster and her kittens and she said their welfare is more important then money and if i could help then she would be happy to let me have them,, the problem is i dont have any room at the moment, hence the dilema,,i hope this clears everything up regards the confusion, and if anyone has any room  please let me know

Just pm'd you about that. They have changed the ad since I have posted it on here. If a rescue can help then I will happily email them telling them this is the only way that they will get help is by signing over to a charity.

I feel that the price being added is in response to my email telling them that letting kittens and uneutered queens go for nowt is a big mistake!

Dabs, I've just seen the ad - they want money, so no rescue will be involved.

I thought the lady was advertising a cat called monster and her 6 week old kittens.

I can remember about a cat called Cfor vaugely, is this not a cat belonging to someone else?

On a certain tree site for Bulwell in Nottingham. Text below.

Hi there we are looking for a new home for a family of cats, we don't want them to go separately as the kittens still depend on their mother.

The kittens are about 6 weeks old and very shy around humans, they do need a lot of attention.

One Female tabby cat called monster,
One Male unusually colored tabby kitten we temporarily named Snowdrop
One Female black and white kitten we named Felix- her coloring does match the Felix cat
One Male black and white we named Nigel- We ran out of names..

Monster, the mummy is a very affectionate cat, she loves cuddles and doesn't mind you touching, cuddling and playing with her kittens.
The kittens how ever have not had a lot of attention as we left them too it as monster is such a good cat mummy, and unfortunately they are not fond of us humans. And we do work a lot so we really can't give them the attention they need at the moment.

So really we are looking for some one who loves cats, and wants to work with these kittens in hope they become more comfortable with humans, and turn into lovely house cats :)

This is worrying, if I had the room, I would be over there like a shot. Will email them and ask them to try local rescues.
