Tbh forget the free ads, go to a rescue have a home visit and get a cat thats purrfect for you and rosie and that wont come with hidden issues, it would save a lot of heartache. There are genuine adverts out there but many are ticking timebombs  :(

OK. Did you contact the seller letting them know rescues are a safer way to rehome or point them in this direction? ;)

Sad thing is JS most rescues are full and have long waiting lists !

great! you have no proof that this cat is theirs - it might be a neighbours cat that they hate, it might be a feral / ill catthat needs a lot of time or treatment. never take a cat without seeing it first anyway!

unless you are a rescue, you should not agree to paying for a cat from a free ad and if you are a rescue, then you probably don't pay for cats.

sorry, if they really want a new home they are not going to pass up an opportunity to rehome for the sake of a £10.

Angie, having just read what Lisa's put on another thread about these people, I'm not sure they'd care. In fact, they might even use the fact she's unspayed and can produce kittens as a bargaining tool. >:(

if shes not been spayed, i would suggest to them they get it done before homing her - cp should be able to offer a voucher. At least then she can't be used as a kitten machine and it will make her more homeable if this has been taken care of.

I agree with Desley as the kitty is only seven months old having no jabs is no big deal.
You can book the cat in fairly quickly at the Vets.

Go for it

Lisa, if you want the cat, having no jabs isn't that big a deal, you can book them in to be done, they can be started at any age, you would just need the full course, which is 3 weeks apart. It would be much better than it going to a rescue
Please spay your cat

most of the cats in the country do not have their inoculations I'm afraid. You only have to look at the stats on diseases within the UK. Remember this is pet vaccination month and the vaccinations are now available for the two jabs for the price of one - though it is stipulated that this is for cats over 18 months.

http://www.vaccinationmonth.co.uk/

I think you will fond all rescues are far too full to take a cat in cos 'it hasn't had its jabs'

we currently have 5 litters and one about to explode in - I don't think any are on our website yet!

Just been on preloved and someone has offered me a 7 month old female cat which got me all excited , upon further email contact it was revealed that the cat in question has never had  an injection AT ALL.

Can you believe someone has had a cat for seven months and has never got it jabbed , nevermind neutered , they have even offered to deliver her for the fee of 10 pound to cover the petrol lol .

wondered if maybe a rescue would like to get this cat , seems a shame its had no jabs etc , i would take it untill a rescue could collect it  but the owner wants a donation to bring the cat to me and i have no transport  :(
