I very much hesitate to mention pussycat Rosella's babies JS  :shify: as I think one of them looks to be a silver tabby.  Obviously it will be a while before they are ready for rehoming.  Have to say Teresa is gonna take some convincing methinks about potential owners for that little lot and I can't say I'm ever that impressed with people insisting on silver tabbies.  Oh dear am I being too protective over those little uns? If I am, can you blame me?  :innocent:

Nope, I tend to be the same. I think deciding on a specific colour generally doesn't work out anyway. I was informed they've "always had silver tabbies" and that's why they want another. The Bacardi cat is the type they mean I think.

Can't see any JS only for sale  :(

there's one for adoption here http://www.catchat.org/allerton/cgibin/prtoc.cgi

Hes a nice tabby but not silver, they look like the bsh used in the whiskas ad, i see alot of tabbies for sale with a silver tabby price tag  :tired:

JS if they want a moggie version they can only phone around local rescues and wait til one comes up

It does say silver on the write up and that's why I pasted it although looks to have a brown tinge to it.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

Silver tabby is a colour, not a breed, so it would depend what breed the person wanted - not all breeds come in that colour, obvious ones are BSH, Maine Coon, NFC, and you could then contact a rescue for that breed.

That's right Desley there are Chinchillas also as I did see this  http://www.cat-society-chinchilla.org.uk/rescue.htm
but I was thinking JS meant moggies ie as your 'general tabby'?

Does anyone know where I can find a list of them? Have been asked to see if there are any rescues needing a new home.
