:Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: OMG she is stunning .. I'm sure she will be very laid back and will make a wonderful mummy (resulting in beautiful, well adjusted kittens).

oh well, the pens taken now with an older black lady who was found in a garden with paralysed back legs. :(

Vet says it could be an old injury, currently dosed with some metacam and had some chicken and tuna. Monitoring over the weekend, trying to find owners and see where we are in a weeks time.

the one advantage of her being a pedigree though is that they look very similar - so hopefully the  :censored: :censored:breeder could never be sure Gypsy had once been hers

The original lady wants her back? When it's more convenient for her?  Hmmm...I'd spay the lovely Gypsy before giving her back, if I had to return her... :evillaugh:

I told the lady who 'rescued' her that Gypsy will be spayd before going anywhere (as are all the cats that come through us if they are old enough).

Gypsy has a very gentle nature which is why I think the lady wants her back at this stage - whether she will feel the same in 3 months we'll have to see. Personally, I think if she does has her back it might cause her problems as shes very close to where Gypsy came from. However, that aside her and her 2 children will make a nice home.

As I said yesterday that is one or two home visits less to do! :Luv2:

Her ladyship is strutting about  checking out her new abode.  Just a little unsure at the moment, but she has been purring when fussed, and seem good when she was with the other cats at Angie's and here.  So if the kittens have a temperament like their Mum, it will be very good for their new families.

She needs some more chicken though, I feel she must have been quite underweight prior to being rescued by the other lady!

I hope Angie feels better today, and know she can come around any time and have her back if she wants.    :Luv2:

Angie knows what is best for her and really she wanted her to come here to be socialised a little more (children, dogs etcetera).

What an angel  :Luv2:  Theft of cat - Judith sounds like a right sneaky so and so  :evillaugh:

spot on there!
I asked her to try taking a photo of Gypsy and she got one of me and the cat - think she deliberately made me look like a fat ugly frump - I could read it in her eyes - such a witch! - needless to say photo has been electronically shredded!

It'll be interesting to see if kittens come out looking like pure bred BSH's or whether a local tom got to her (Gypsy not Judith :briggin:)

Well that  :censored: Judith (madasacatter).

Had a call this morning regarding a 'found' cat. Not going to say to much about where but it was 'found' a few doors down from a BSB who has had several run ins with the RSPCA and rumour has it breeds dogs and cats in pens in her garage.

enuff said. Cat is pregnant (guess 6 - 7 weeks) and the lady who found it would quite like to have mum back once the kittens have been homed - she has young children who she does not trust to be around kittens so its fairly sensible.

Anyway, with that  :censored: Judith just having Polly and babes, I began to feel all broody and thought well, I'm sure I can manage - it's been a while since I had babies in the house and OH even say OK when I mentioned it to him before fetching her (though there was talk of booking flights to Austria in that negotiation).

Gypsy came to me for about 1 hour (via a checkup at the vets). Then Judith came round to have a look (and just happened to have cleared her last pen and have a carrier in the car) and now Gypsy has left the building.

We are now ahead of last year in kitten terms - we had our first kittens in March and then a run of them June/July.

Bet I won't be sulking in a few months. >:( >:( :naughty:
