Luckily one of the vet nurses has "fallen" for this young man, and is offering him a home.  Many thanks to all who have offered.   :thanks:

Ack i'm sorry, can't have an entire boy here as it's rented and the LL is panicky enough about my two cats anyway :(

Whereabouts are you based in Swindon?  Maybe I could enquire into helping out?

It is not necessarily "sorted" as the offers of foster are a long way from the cat.  It would obviously be better for it not to travel too far.

Here is the post, so you know more about it (posted with permission - hence delay):-

Number of animals: 1
Type/Breed/Variety: Cat
Sex: MALE
Age(s): 1 year or possibly bit less
Name(s): Hasnt got one yet!
Colours: Black and white
Neutered: NO
Temperament: Very friendly
Assessment:Has animal had a thorough assessment?: No

Other: Currently in a convalescence cage at a vets in Swindon. Had been found with a tin can jammed on his head. Has been with them for over a week and no-one has come forward to claim him. Vets were intending to put him back where he had been found, but have kept him temporarily due to the bad weather.

WARAS is providing rescue back up. Need to get him out of vets asap before they return him to the streets. Very sociable and friendly.

Offers closer to him would be fantastic!

Would have been nice of them to neuter him before he gets moved on though.  If he is "done" already more people may be able to offer  him help, if they are worried about having an entire male around.
