hi every1

update - this wee lad is fab - we av named him taz.

he is out of his cage - mixing with the family, and our other foster cat.

he is very actvie - altho not quite mastered the understanding of what a pat on the knee means - so we have to encourage him a bit extra.
we pick him up - and if he is sleepy he nestles into u great - he is very fond of going up into your sleeves, which makes moving ur  arms difficult - but its all part of the fun. :)

he torments bessie something rotton - bessie is that laid back she is horizontal - but taz knows when she has had enough.

the probelm is- we are leaving for our hols on thurs eve - and i had hoped that he would have had a new home by then.
he will be going with another foster care - but, unfortunately, his cage will be going with him - and he is doing really well.

if u would like to consider this wee lad, please pm myself or call parrts office number on 01665 711451

Make sure you an entice him toward you before you let him down on the floor. It's very easy to get caught up in the chase instinct when you want them back and you risk undoing all the good work. Dried spaghetti dangled in front of them is a good interactive toy - they dab at it and can't understand why it snaps and you're still holding the other end. Once he's had enough wandering and you want him back in the pen, wave the spaghetti and he'll come over for a game.  ;)

Sounds like you are making good progress, though.  :wow: :naughty:

hi - update!

he's doing great - i can now lift him up, take him out of his cage, and he doesn't half snuggle into u. especially if u av a fleece on.
he likes to go under my fleece cardi, and have a cuddle.

i carried him around this morning - giving him a tour of our living room. he's slowly becoming curious - so hopefully not long before he wants to venture out  ;D

i am slowly introducing him to our children - and other noises - esp the hoover - he had a first listen to that 2day- which he wasn't impressed with.  :Luv:

 :Luv2:  an update!

i had my first purr from this wee lad today - although he is still very jumpy at noises (which is  expected).

he needs to grow into his paws  as they are huge - he has no prob eating/drinkn/litter training.

so hopefully it won't belong b4 i can snap a piccy of him.
