The pregnant feral I had a home lined up for gave birth last night. She gave birth to 3 but sadly one died :'( I think the baby got stuck whilst she was giving birth but the other 2 seem to be doing well. Mum is frightened but seems to be coping, she has a few hisses at me if I feed her and did go for me this morning whilst I was removing the dead kitten but other than that she's ok. I'm not sure what to do about moving her now as she's meant to go on Saturday :tired: May have to keep her here and see if a home pops up in a couple of weeks for her and her babies, ideally I wanted her to go with the others that are going as she gets on well with them. I'll keep you posted

I did that once, Tiger was the first feral I ever caught, didn't know a lot about cats so listened to the advice off a friend of mine who got me involved in the first place. We spotted a cat with a "bulge" at the rear.......thought possibly a pregnant female :-: Kept "her" for a week as "she" had the snuffles and then got her in the vets for a check up........vet laughed when I said can you check that she's pregnant, she said he'd have a job cos he's got a pair of :censored: :-[ Since then I've always erred on the side of caution when I've taken them in :evillaugh:
On the plus side mum and babies are all doing fine......she's started meowing at me now and has let me check they're ok from time to time :Luv:
