He can have his bottle for as long as he likes, bless him  :Luv:  He lay against it last night - just the top half of his body, but he had his head and shoulders on it plus his front paws splayed out as though to say "it's my bottle and nobody's taking it away from me"  :Luv2:

I really don't know why Mosi has taken to sleeping close to me lately.  You'd think the warmer nights would have him wanting somewhere cooler rather than snuggling up to me in bed.  I know he's gorgeous but I just can't cope with him snuggling in this weather.  I find myself squeezed between the pair of them trying not to touch them but not wanting to offend Mosi after he's come for a cuddle!

Fortunately my house is quite cool especially at the front as the sun doesn't come round till the evening although Dylan was to be found on my bedroom windowsill this morning with the sun blazing through :Crazy: They seem to be handling it ok apart from not wanting to eat as much, couldn't say the same for their mum through the night when they both decided it would be a really good idea to snuggle up to me in bed just to keep me a bit warmer  :rofl:

lovely pics! Riley's really looooong isn't he?  I wipe my boys over with a cool, damp cloth. they seem to love that and it cools them down too. Plus of course 2 fans are being run in their honour as it is too hot in this flat.

Byron went to sleep in an unusual place today - spare bedroom on top of a wicker basket, she must have felt cooler there.

Not sure if it is the right thing to do, but I have put frozen coolpaks* under the pads in the cat beds. They like them, especially Cassie with her long double coat.

*The things that you freeze for coolboxes etc.

Not the best idea with Riley - he's completely obsessed with knocking over anything with water in so I'd have very soggy carpets  :evillaugh:

A tip to cool the room is to put some buckets/dishes etc around the room with ice cold water in them - they can get extra drinks at the same time. :rofl:

It's from an exclusive gallery called Matalan  :evillaugh: I bought it a year or so ago but they always have loads of different ones in, not sure what the technical term is but it's kind of like a block canvas so no frame needed.

Both the boys are trying out the 'bigger surface area = cooler cats' theory  :Luv2:

Riley going for the seal look - for scale the picture is just short of 4 foot and yes, it is crooked as minutes early he was catching a fly and knocked it  :innocent:
