Hi, so sorry to hear about your mum  is there any other close family/friends who can adopt Katy?
If not it would be a good idea to contact rescues in your area, here's a list:
http://www.catchat.org/adoption/yorkss.html
they may be full but you could ask to go on a waiting list of for direct rehoming which is where they advertise the cat but she remains with you until then.
It's best to go through a rescue so proper checks are done and the right home found.
If your own cats are stressed could you have Katy in a room of her own until that time?
Best of luck!

Certainly you shpuld keep Katy in a room of her own, with attention from you and some toys, boxes to hide in, her food and water and bed and litter tray. Maybe a radio playing quietly.
Hopefully your cats will then re=emerge and start eating again.
It takes time to introduce cats and two days is wayyyyyyyyyy too short.
It could be that Katy may also be grieving and will need lots of strokes and comfort.
If you would like her to stay with you, you need to work at the introductions

I don't want to sound negative but I've just been talking to a friend who runs a local rescue and the situation this year is terrible they are only taking in cats with kittens. They just can't take in any older cats. If the cat is quite old it could end up staying in a rescue and finding it difficult to ever find a home.
Please keep trying with the introduction with your cats as people say it can take quite a while for a new cat to be accepted. There is lots of advise on here about introducing a new cat. Also you could read this http://www.catchat.org/hierarchies.html
Good luck
