Glad little Fred was done at the same time and that it all went OK  :) It's perfectly normal for Benji to be hissing at them as they will smell very strange to him. When Riley came back from an overnight stay at the vets Lu hissed at him for 3 days!

lol, as the night wore on Ginger was back to her naughty self and trying to play rough and tumble with her brother!
Oh and I forgot to say, she has had internal stitches and glue and will be back Tuesday for a check up!

The only thing is that Benji no does not like the kittens... :tired: which is a shame, but hopefully temporary, he keeps going to wash them but then when he gets there hissing, presumably because they still smell a bit like vet?

They are both doing well, Ginger has just been told off! lol but they seem to be fine, a bit sleepy earlier when they first got home but that didn't last long!

I think they said they would use glue because I said she is so naughty I mean energetic!
also...I took Fred in for advice about his op and he has had testicles! so he is having his op today
They have just phoned me and told me Gingers op went well, they are waiting for her to wake up and will phone me again when she does. They did more blood tests for Fred before his op and they are the same as before, so his kidney function isn't declining and they will also phone me after his op, lol.
They are very good at keeping in touch, I think they are used to worried owners! They are not my normal vets but they seem to good and nice that I might transfer over to them :)

We will be thinking of you both tomorrow and we agree with Sheryl re the gluing of the wound it is the best thing = we use it on all our girls, feral, domestic and pedigree and it means no trumpet collar and they can be straight back to kitten mayhem

She will be okay Hun  when you take her in ask the vet to do the stitches under the skin and glue - the wound is a lot smaller and there are no visible stitches for her to tug at, when my Bengly Mellika was done this way she didnt even need to wear a "lightshade" and the healing time is a lot quicker.  I think it cost about £5 more but was well worth it

Will be thinking of you tomorrow

poor little girl doesn't know what is going to happen to her.
I know it is for the best but I still feel guilty about it :(
I was going to give her her normal dinner if she wants it and then I have got a chicken breast to boil and share out little bits to all 3.
so, fingers and paws crossed for tomorrow :)

 Try not to feel guilty, you are doing the best thing for her future health - no STDs or emergency C-sections - and helping other cats by not bringing unwanted kittens into the world. I would give her the food she is used to as it contains all the vitamins and minerals needed for healing, and her digestion may be a little delicate.

She will likely feel a little woozy in the evening after her anaesthetic anyway so will not do too much. She will regulate herself as she will feel rather tender but they do heal up very quickly.
Hope everything goes smoothly for the op and a speedy recovery.

all if mine came to me as adults except my bengal - they can't be kept quiet so after her spay she was just as nuts as normal and had no ill effects!

I already feel guilty, how can I not give her breakfast in the morning?!?! What if anything goes wrong!?!? (as you can tell I worry...a lot :( )
my poor little baby girl having her op :(
They are going to look at Fred while I am there and advise me about his neutering too and I am going to get her some chicken for dinner tomorrow night to make her feel better.
Any tips on trying to keep her calm in the evening? She is the more energetic of the two of them and I have a feeling she is going to be climbing the christmas tree as normal...
