You will be allowed to try to purrrrrrrrrsuade Purrs members to vote for your cat in the classes section from 1 June to 8 June.

There are rules, yes of course there are rules!

You must only use words, no pictures or links or reference to any pictures or links posted anywhere . You must be polite and not be rude about any other cats. You may only canvass on the canvassing thread, not by pm, chat, email etc etc. Any posts that break the rules will be immediately deleted by one of the amazing Cat Show mods and any other Purrs moderator or Admin.

All is fair in love, war and the Purrs Cat Show as long as you are nice about it :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

For example.................My beautifulllllllllllllllllll fluffy green and pink cat Zebra is a star and smiles for england, wales, scotland and northern ireland and you wont find a more smiley cat anywhere. So VOTE VOTE VOTE on 1 June. You have three votes in every class, one of which can be used to vote for your own cat too but Zebra is the main cat andddddddddddd well use your :censored: imagination :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

The Classes thread will be open just after midnight on Fri 1 June for you to gaze at all the amazing cats and cast your votes. Voting will stop at midnight on the 8 June so ignore what it says on the polls. The door will be slammed shut at midnight on the 8th :rofl:

You will see that the threads are all locked and thats because they are open just for voting not for comments ;D To help you every thread that needs a vote has been numbered from 1 to ummmmmm 61 I think and the order will not change, so you can look and vote for say 10 and and go back and vote for next 20 etc etc. It is cat overload we have found :rofl: :rofl:

Things to remember:

It would be good if you remembered its a cat show not a photo show and look at the class title and and go for the cats you like best in each class.

You have up to 3 votes in every class if there are 3 or more cats entered, one may be used for your own cat if you are an entrant. Once you have voted you will not be able to change your votes and the results of voting will be hidden until the results are in.

The winner of each class will go into the group stage and if there is a tie, a panel of 5 judges who do not have cats in that class will be convened to decide the winner.

There will be a Purrs member vote again at the group stage.

Please do not post anywhere who you voted for cos its a secret ballot. :shify: :shify:

Soooooooooo not long now and you will be able to complete your ballot slip :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Let the best cats win ;D

To all that have entered your cats, thank you very much cos without you we would not have a show and there would be no money for Minimopsical. I have seen all the cats and they are all, each and everyone of them wonderful, and even if you do not get through to the group stage, this is not cos your cat isnt wonderful but just that we cant vote for all of them. Every cat is a winner and their entry helps another cat .

Our cat show opens at Midnight TONIGHT :yayyy: :yayyy:

When you will be able to see all the adorable cats entered in each class and start voting :vote:

We have 61 classes for you to vote on and the voting for these classes will be open til June 8th midnight. (please ignore the date on the individual polls) Each Purrs member from Adult cat grade and up has three votes in each class. (one vote can be used for your own cat) To vote select up to 3 votes FIRST then click submit vote button. You can't change your votes once you click submit vote!!! So if you make a mistake and only select one to vote then click submit vote, you can't go back and vote for another 2.

The top cat from each class at on the 8th June will be put into the group stage and will be announced on the 10th June when the group stage opens for voting. We have 12 groups.

Then the top 12 from the groups then goes forward to the final voting.

We have surprizes in store as we go along :evillaugh: :evillaugh: ;D

We have had about 12 cats that are the only cats entered in 12 diff classes so these lucky cats go straight through to the group stage. These classes do not need a vote from you wonderful peeps and are at the bottom of the class list.

Soooooooooooo fluffybottoms. This is all for fun, fun ,fun. No cat is a looser cause all these wonderful babes have helped to raise the all important part for our wonderful mascot Minimopsical. The total we have raised will be annouced on 21st June when the entries for the bridge babes section closes. ;D ;D

Just for the cat show polls we would like to ask people who have entered if they would like to see the whole results afterwards or not?
One thing we have always been worried about is anyone getting upset if their adorable babe (and they are all sooo adorable) came last in any poll. We certainly don't want anybody whatsoever to feel sad or upset with one of our fundraisers. Without all you wonderful peeps, we wouldn't have been able to raise any money for Minimopsical which is the most important part.

So what would you lot prefer? Do we show the whole results of the polls when they are closed or do we only show who has come in top 3 places?

At the mo we have thought to only show top 3 as we have surprizes all the way along the show sections which ya all don't know about yet :evillaugh: in which case the poll results will never be revelealed.
Is everyone ok with that?

Seeing how many votes were polled is tempting and very flattering for the cats involved at the top, but could be miff-making too for the ones who didn't quite make it!

They are all so fabulous, and sometimes voting was sooooooo hard 'cos really you wanted to vote for all of them, and not voting for the others felt like - like - pinching someone's favourite cat nip sucky sock from under their very nose!

You will notice there is something a little extra added to the pics that were voted 1st, 2nd and 3rd with the class awards for each place.

We have more surprizes in store as we go along the show. ;) ;D

This is apparently because it was thought best not to show the full results in case any cats didn't get any votes. The software would have automatically shown the full results if the correct date was used.

Well it's the end of our Cat show and what a show it's been. So many adorable cats that have had us crying, larfin, and oooing and ahhhhing.
It has been such a pleasure to host and a fantastic amount has been raised for Minimopsical for her Puppy pads.

And T what a fantstic idea right off to see if they do a bigger sized mouse mat so we can have purrsonaised feeding mats in the shop too. And the great thing is these can also be used as place mats as they are heat resistant. ;D

Other exciting stuff in shop as soon as we can get it all finished and up
