Title: Has anyone heard of these?
Post by: Sam (Fussy_Furball) on November 28, 2006, 19:48:51 PM
Rossi was spayed today and she is fine.  She came home had a small bowl of scrambeld egg and has gone to bed ... poor little thing.

With regards to the stiches the vet nurse said if she starts to pull at them to take her back and they will put some drops on them.   Apparently these "drops" taste foul and means they leave them alone!  I suppose it's a bit like the stuff you use to stop biting your nails.  Has anyone had any experience of these drops ... I've never heard of them before.

On the plus side we got a big free sample bag of Royal Canin neutered famale dry food which I'm sure she will tuck into tomorrow when she feels a bit better :)

Might be a bit too late if they have started to bite the stitches

I think they have already put something on them as Rossi licked her stitches earlier then pulled that face as if to say ... ewww not nice!
