We've started to refer to vet visits as "another 100 quid"!

Hi all
Had Ebony to vets yesterday as she had started to limp and was dragging one of her back legs, so made and appointment and took her up straight away, vet checked her over and said she needed and xray just to check it wasnt broken or greenstick fracture, so I left her there, vet called me couple of hours later and said it was fine, no breaks or fracture, she must have just pulled a muscle. I was soooo relieved, went to collect and was presented with a bill for £133.34 and a bottle of metacam.  OH went white and slunk out the door back to the car leaving me to pay it and then realised I cant even claim it back on her insurance because its still on the 14 day no claim thingy!!!

Im not moaning, I know it had to be done, but now the little  :censored:  is running about quite happily  on it and im sure shes sniggering at me
