Thanks for the compliments guys. I've been waiting for the right friend for Dylan for ages after losing my little Sophie in April but we never had just the right cat in as mine have to be indoors so when these kittens came along I decided to jump in with both feet and go for it. I hope Dylan and Hobbes will get along ok. Dylan is a real softie who cries for other cats when he sees them outdoors and I think he has been missing having a companion these last few months so hopefully if we take things slowly they will be fine. He still likes to play a lot even though he's 7 now so hopefully there'll be lots of chasing and playing. Don't worry you'll be getting lots of progress updates and photos as the months go on (I'll be boring you rigid with stories about him  )

Something to help with the post Christmas let down

Well I've been keeping this one quiet for a bit but just to cheer everyone up after Christmas I thought I would share some pictures of my new little boy who is coming to live with me and Dylan on Friday. He will be 10 weeks old then and he is my first kitten so as you can imagine I am very excited but terrified at the same time  He came in to us with his 3 brothers and 1 sister and his mum when they were only 6 days old, they were born in a greenhouse type thingy and a very nice couple had been feeding their mum but when the kittens were born they didn't want them being out in the cold, plus it was just before bonfire night, so they were brought into our branch's care and their foster mum and dad have done a fabulous job with them. Mum and one of the boys went to their new home last week, one is being kept by his foster mum and dad and the other two have homes too. My little boy is going to be called Hobbes after the tiger in the Calvin and Hobbes cartoons which are my fave. I think it suits him, see what you think  ;D
