My friend took me for a night out last night and when we eventually stumbled home at 5.30am ish :-[ I was met by Little Miss playing with a mouse. Queue me crawling about in a drunken state catching said mouse who was still completely intact. Caught and released under the shed :sneaky:
Job well done I thought..............
5 minutes ago she brought in another one :tired: So once again much scrabbling about trying to save the poor little thing, while getting grumbled at profusely by Little Miss for taking away her toy. It was a quick process, save for the little jumping out the box on the first go, into my chest and onto the floor :-: Mouse has once gain been released under the shed.
I can see what I'm going to be spending my summer doing..............

Mice unlike cats are very stupid and ask to be recaught!
I put one nearly 100ft away fromm house but could it stay hidden and safe.........no!

Well I just caught number 3 and I'm pretty sure this was a different mouse :tired:

Haha, not this time Mary :evillaugh:
Final count was 4 but the last one met a sticky end as I was followed to the release site where mousey was immediately re-caught by Little Miss and was last seen being tortured in my neighbours garden :(

Looks like there was a family.........sigh

I am dreading this when we move. Ella has seen a mouse and ran from it but when we took Arvhie to the vets, she observed his behaviour and said "He will be a hunter"

The Munchkin once famously caught five mice in the space of two hours. I think he must have encountered a nest. I managed to rescue two of them (which I released in next door's garden when The Munchkin's back was turned) , but the other three, I fear, ended up in his tummy (tails and all ). He was sick the next day, for which he only had himself to blame!
