I cant see it  :tired: I am on a site at the moment that restricts everything - I am quite surprised I can get on purrs.

It tells me the category "games" is restricted  :tired:
I will have a look later though

Alfie say's thanks :)

It's just a start really I'd really like to help get the message accross about FiV, there will be links to serious stuff and more when I have the time but I think that real-life and humour are good vehicles to help the message along without being too scary.

Cheers

Great job Leigh!!  I really like it!! ;D Was there supposed to be Suzie's picture on the gap near the bottom?  I know she doesn't have Fiv but surely as Alfie's good friend she deserve a guest appearance!! ;)

Another thing, the dialogue seemed a bit scrunched up, perhaps a space between each speech may help for an easier read?  Or flushing everything to the left for the same purpose, although centred structure is esthetically prettier?

Well... I haven't put my contact lenses on yet and reading with the specs, so that maybe the problem... I will try with my full sight later :)

I can see it from that link - it's great but some of the photos are over the words - maybe it's my browser?

Not trying to be difficult  :evillaugh:

That is a really great site Leigh.  It answere all the questions about FIV that I was asking.  I do hope it encourages people to think about rehoming a cat with FIV.

It's brilliant! Love the dialogue idea. Will keep checking the page every so often for updates.

What software did you use to do the webpage? Looks really professional!  ;D

Hi guys,

Thanks, I usually use Dreamweaver but this was done with Coffecup, it's really simple html, nothing very fancy and I use Photoshop for any graphics stuff. I'll be working on it from time to time between my other projects. I've got some more fun ideas, I want to bring Alfie's virtual FiV friends like maxy boy in ASAP so that folks can see that there are many other FiV+ cats out there leading normal loving lives.

Cheers

Leigh

Hi Leigh,

I can see the site now I am at home and its fab  :shy: there really needs to be more awareness out there that FIV isnt a death sentence and that FIV cats can be kept with non-FIV (I only found that out recently too)

If your site can help home more FIV babes then that is fabulous also  ;D maybe if you get the time you could link to FIV cats on Cat Chat that need a home?

Your kitties are lovely, Frankie looks like Doc -  :Luv2:

Leigh's boys (and Susie of course) are wondeful. Just big cuddlefussybums. And no one would ever guess they had what people would perceive as a visible illness. It's just something they have. And look at them. Butter could not melt.

Hiya,

Thanks everyone,

I'm planning to do more ASAP and I'd like to post something on CatChat's FiV section if I can remember my account details there, it's been some time :). I think the biggest spokesmen for FiV are the cats themselves and it is my intent to include other FiV puds and their "owners" stories and pics ASAP.

Cheers to all

Leigh

Hi Helen and Tiggy,

Dad say's that he'll be arranging typing lessons for me, I don't know why considering that I can already type faster, with better grammar and punctuation and with fewer errors than he can!. Now IF he was going to arrange them for Frankie that'd be a different matter as his paws are much bigger than mine and, quite frankly, he's rubbish at typing. As soon as I've heard from my "virtual" FiV online mates I'm going to be including their stories on the website, isn't the Internet great?!, they can't go out 'cos of their FiV, we can't go out 'cos of our FiV so online is the "way to go bro". Suzie's my design consultant "guru", what an inspiration she is, many a chilly winter's evening we've chatted for hours round the radiator, how we laugh!.  ;D

Loud purrs and big headbuts.
